Yu-Gi-Oh! Sealed Only One V One - THE END? $80 FOR COMMONS?! (Episode#18)

After finding a great deal of inspiration in Farfa, Distant Coder and Nyhmnim's Sealed only Yu-Gi-Oh! series I decided to start my own with a long time friend, Mario from Mario's Gaming World. Each week we will open some sealed product, build our decks and play a match of Yu-Gi-Oh! We're allotting ourselves $60 dollars Canadian each episode and singles are forbidden. The goal is to be the first to win 25 matches and whoever does so will receive a full case from their opponent.

In today's episode we attempt to take down Mario's Dragon Link Thunder Lightsworn combo deck by continuing to make our Cyber Dragon deck much more broken with the help of Dragoon. Today I no longer have to open the single set with Red Eyes Dark Dragoon, the 2020 Mega Tin of Lost Memories because we actually finally pulled it! Mario continues to open Soul Fusion as he still needs the remaining Thunder Dragon cards to make his Lightworn Chaos deck competitive. He also dives into the Rokket Revolt structure deck for good Dragon Link cards! Now I did win the last match against his Choas Lightsworn deck but Mario does only need one more win. With that I am confident that with the help of Dragoon we can take the win! As always, it was a real pleasure putting this together for all of you and I hope you enjoy the sealed only journey!

A friend of mine used to call this Time Thief Turbo (due to the Xyz). Fun fact he tried it at a tournament we had at his home with 8 people and he got 2 Fantazmei, 2 Engage and Orcust Return. At their peak prices. Of course he returned them but just imagine going to a ycs with that kind of strategy.

Your final episode should be the final hunt for consistency on both sides, 3rd Chaos space for Mario and 3rd Cyber emergency for Ruggles, you have both been hunting them for so long.

You guys probably might have already recorded it, but it might have also been interesting because it's a best of 6, to have a super side deck in case you wanted to do something funky and smokescreen into a random deck. Something like 23 card side deck. It might have been fun for Mario to try something risky with the Dragons, and then see it's failing to side back into Lightsworn PK while still having enough variety to keep the go 2nd and go 1st options available to try.

About to finish up with my summer courses this week, with passing grades. Which coincidently is on the week that my locals are opening back up after so long, very exciting. And a new episode of Seal Only uploaded today with Cyber Dragon winning and the score is now tied. A deck that I am taking to locals very shortly.
