Not gonna lie, for 3 decks, they are not a bad price. They helped me get into YuGiOh and learn the basics. While they are a good jumping off point, I wouldn't say they are the best for meta play.

These decks were not printed to be meta anyways. They are mostly for beginners and casual players (like me). However if you are a meta player you can still get some value out of that box.I mean if you play HERO you can get shadow mist and dark law for a lower price now and if you play gouki you have easier access to junk forward

There's a general idea in creating products for new players that you want to have a lot of different cards in the deck so that the players get to see some of the range of effects that cards can have (Also it tends to be more exciting to play a deck with a lot of different cards so you're constantly seeing new things). Most ccgs make their new-player decks with a lot of 1ofs and 2ofs for this reason. I think there's an argument that things like structure decks which are aimed at the more competitive end of new player spectrum should be more consistent because it can teach about proper deck construction. However, this kind of product feels like it might be aimed more towards people who just want to play these decks at the kitchen table, in which case having lots of different cards makes sense.

I was personally happy with this product due to it providing decks for me and my Dad to get back into the game and pull some decent combos out of it. He plays the Nordics while I play the Destiny Heroes. All in all, fantastic product.

I never got to pick these decks up because my hometown got destroyed by the hurricane you mentioned at the beginning of the video, and since we were basically living in an apocalyptic scenario, Yugioh got put on the back burner. If Hurricane Michael never came through I could’ve gotten them, but we never got them delivered because we were focused on getting food, water, MREs and medical supplies through.

I pre-ordered 3 copies of this back when people were disappointed with the 3 revealed archetypes and the the hype was dying down. I saw quite a few game stores doing a pre-order for this at a discounted price so I decided to just pick up three ($30 AUD --> 21 USD). I'm ultimately happy with my purchase and can't wait for them to arrive :3

This is pretty much what you were talking about in your starter deck video a couple months back. These decks are all archetypes that can teach new players basic combos and gives them quite alot to work with in terms of both generic and archetype specific cards at a semi-competitive level.

I opted to build a Vendread/Fur Hire hybrid deck to replace the Phantom Knights, and the OTK for the Vendread/Fur Hire deck is pretty good. I know it doesn't seem like they fit together, but Vendreads and Fur Hires are pretty good together with the right build.

I think Konami missed a great opportunity to put the final 3 link monsters from the Link Vrains pack. Cherabini could have easily fitted in the Phantom Knights deck instead of Evilswarm Nightmare and Crystron Needlefiber should have replaced Scrap Dragon in the Nordic deck. That could have appealed to the competitive audience as well as the casual players.

Destiny hero is great to learn how to combo, I now got back into yugioh since I used to play back in 06 but now that I getting back into it with not as much knowledge as I used to, these decks were the first that I bought to get me set up and so far ive only played the Heros which are my favorite im already getting very good at it and I only needed to add like a few other copies I got from somewhere else, but yes 2 twin twisters at least would've been nice. Overall Great Starter or returner decks.

Yes it is,you can play destiny heroes and dominate you're friends because dark law is a beast and the destiny hero strategy is easy to learn

I think the randomness if the staples is a sale tactic. Say we take your example and a person wanted to run the 3 Twin Twisters, well, the said person could do that...if they spend 90 dollars and get 3 of the boxes. Honestly, I don't buy sealed product, I buy singles. However, when it comes to special structure decks and the legendary products, like this, I buy 3 of them. By doing this, I aquire 3 copies of the promo cards, but I also get at least 3 of all of the tech Konami is offering. Trust me, it pays off because a player can end up just being stocked up on competitive tech at the disposal of the player as well as just having the special cards Konami offers that end up having competitive use. Kinda like having Decode Talker when Link Strike came out, which continues to see play. Just my thoughts though. ☺

I'm a competitive budget player at heart, so I'm glad I was able to pick this up for $20 because I do think it's a pretty decent deal. What the phantom knights deck is missing is 'phantom Knight's possession' best anime card in arc v. Won't be unwrapping this deck at all. I had a full 1st edition Nordic deck when they first came out. I will eventually rebuild it so I'm only after the link monster in it. I'd rather hunt down the 1st Ed original prints to rebuild it since my original was stolen. D-hero deck, I'm only after the links. I already have an elemental/Neos/Destiny deck already done. So I'm only expanding the extra deck. Yugitubers get this wrong all the time. But Beelze is not pronounced Beel'z. It's Bee-el-zuh(zeh). It's named after beelzebub. Noone says beezle-bub or bee-lz-bub. The decks are nice but I'd prefer the phantom knights dexk to have phantom Knight's possession.(need it for my 4 dimension dragon deck)

Hey Cimoooo. I couldn't message you. Yugioh came up with "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" while there is already a "Chaos Command Magician". This confuses players so much that they don't know what to do and are actually just flipping coins on each other to see which card is boss over the other. Can you come up with a video explaining to the world who is boss of the two? Let us know too. Thanks!!!

well the only effect that seems like it could cause confusion is the one that activates when targeted for attack. but since that effect does not target the attacking creature it won't trigger the magician's effect. if it attacks into her she will stop the attack and can summon. magicians effect won't negate her as it is never targeted by her effect

Short anser: Yes. Longer Answer: It really depends. Do you want to play these or one of these decks in particular? Are you looking to get your hands in only a certain number of cards in this product and sell the rest? Are you a returning player that wants a good and functional deck? Are you a new player? If one of these questions were answered with a Yes (Except for maybe the second one), then by all means, go and buy it NOW because it's worth every cent.

This is the first Legendary Deck that doesn't come with any promos. Also, I wish Dark Hole wasn't one of the Ultras. Other than that and some minor complaints (lack of Stratos in here) I'm happy with it. Its not the best, but it is good.
