Ty for the memories. Fun fact about my Spyral FTK, the day after I made it, I brought my deck to work. I run an after school program and many kids at the time played too. I told the kids that played that if they (6 of them) could beat me, they would each get a pack. The condition was that they all had 8000 LP and I had 1 LP, I go first and I only have Armageddon knight in hand. 5 minutes later, The look on their faces after I FTK all 6 of them was priceless. Can confirm Canadian are Monsters that FTK everyone , including children

Ah yes, the first ace monster to be banned and have its ace monster status revoked and slowly get erased from the anime. Dark Magician, Neos, Stardust, Utopia and Odd-eyes were like "Damn" when that happened.

I started playing yugioh in 2018, a guy who i regularly played with mained firewall dragon. I was so eager to play at the time having a challenge kept me playing. Here i am nearly six years later still hopping on master duel regularly with friends.

Ah yes the “original“ broken Link monster and one of the most broken cards in the history of the game. Verte who? Halq what? Everyone who played in 2017/18 knows this is the real shit. Don't forget that the OCG had all the broken Tuners, Halq, Goblin, Summon Sorc and Firewall all legal at the same time so that even a deck like ABC could build Extra Link boards or FTK you. There existed so freaking many competitive FTK decks during this time: ABC, Plants, Samsara Lotus, Gandora X, Dino, Pendulum, Danger Dark World, Gem Knights, Slash Draw, Gouki... And most of them were enabled through broken Links, especially Firewall. And when we are already talking about broken Links how about a video about the Guardragon Links (or simply Pisty because then you could include every deck that played a Guardragon Link even after the other 2 got banned)

Firewall wasn't the real original broken certainly he was broken but honestly the true agony was Gumblar Dragon. Firewall is occasionnally brought up because of his ace statut (And don't get me started with the crapcode)

It forever ruined yugioh for me. I play here and there on master duel, but links made me retire from competitive yugioh. It's not just the card though. Its the whole link era that caused my dark synchro deck to get completely banned.
