That's one of the few cards I physically own. Haven't really done much paper Yu-Gi-Oh over the years -- I've got two decks (zombies and exosisters) and that's about it. But I've definitely got one of these. Plenty of anime girls across all the games in my collection. Definitely one of them.

Goddess with Opponent IP is pretty common when they try to hold it to use their own Goddessand link away your immune to everything boss monster

The I:P Underworld Goddess interaction is something I never understood. Example: I can’t super poly my opponent’s cards into Guardian Chimera because it says monsters I control. BUT Even though I:P says only monsters you control, you can still go into underworld goddess with an opponents monster. I sometimes think this game makes too much sense.

@@Exisist5151 Then if I may, let me help- the card text for that effect does not use the word "only". It states, "During your opponent's Main Phase, you can (Quick Effect): Immediately after this effect resolves, Link Summon 1 Link Monster using materials you control, including this card." Since Goddess does in fact use monsters you control(along with one of the opponent's) she is a legal card to summon using Masquerena's effect

@@Prince19912 I actually got the ruling from a DB judge and my reading of it was correct, they just said it’s a case of it being translated into English wrong and that clause “using monsters you control” is entirely unnecessary and was meant to make players not think they could link summon with cards from their hand (obviously). Your understanding is also very flawed. If a card reads: (perform X action) using y. It means to only use something that falls under the criterion y, if it meant using at least 1 y, then it would say that. There’s no similar comparison to underworld goddess for extra deck monsters, it adds an extra wrinkle to how you’re able to perform a game mechanic, it has nothing to do with I:P’s effect, except only that I:P allows you to perform that game mechanic. A weird equivalent would be a fusion monster reading: 2 Monsters “you can also use 1 monster your opponent controls as material to fusion summon this card.” If that monster existed you’d be allowed to use polymerization and use 1 monster your opponent controls to summon said monster.

Honestly when ever I try building a new deck, one of my first instincts is to automatically shove I:P and unicorn in there Asap as an orcust player, I have come to the conclusion that if your orcust deck cannot make at least I:P/Ding in GY pass, then you are playing orcust wrong.

I don't see the hype for this card. Yeah you can link summon during the opponent's turn but I ask the question why would you want to when you can just summon the monster you would summon with it's effect on your turn? Is there some big combo with this card I'm not aware of or something?

cards like s:p little knight have removal effects on summon, enabling you to banish your opponents monster on their turn after setting up turn 1

Is really normal to summon a apollousa with i:p. And normally she is on most synchro decks because of one thing. "Oh no! my oponent still has ways to combo but l already wasted all my negates on him! What do l do!?" And then he just uses i:p eff and summons a apollousa to have extra negates. Is annoying bro.

Because she is a reference to I:P Masquerading, you know, like using a vpn. Using a fake I:P. It fits the idea of illusions which normally fit in with the dark attribute. There’s also the fact that she is the nemesis of S-force Rappa Chiyomaru, with the S-force being in lore a security team. It could also be due to the fact that I:P Masquerena appears at night, like Rappa Chiyomaru who is also a dark monster, whereas other S-force monsters are light and appear during the day
