guy, i end with the same board without steam, i use dearg to add and discard phanlax, when i use dearg and atum for a link, i summon romulus, add the lance, zeph eff to bounce red-eyes, use lance, to couse, and summon it, use zeph and couse for barcha, barcha equip all 4 tuner, special summon two couse, to make eply and pisty, elpy summon tempest, banish tempest to special summon red-eyes, add the arma, red-eyes eff, to bring back any dragon from grave, and use red-eyes, elpy, romulus and the dragon, to make saryuja, and for end with armorphage lechery, just need to draw a dragon or a winged beast with saryuja, and next, pisty eff, bring back dearg, and if with saryuja we draw a dragon, use dearg eff to add lechery, and discard the other, summon phanlax equiped with barcha, make crystal wing with dearg and phanlax, then, using saryuja eff to special summon arma from hand, and arma eff to equip the phanlax , and use pisty and sryuja for the hieratic seal, special summon phanlax equiped in arma, make borreload savage and equip with saryuja, and barcha has a phanlax equiped, we can special summon it and synchro summon for level 10, and put in the scale, lechery. End with the same board

What you have provided is not the same board and is a vastly inferior combo resource wise from the new format combo without Steam that ends on a BETTER board than what I ended on in this video (which I have already figured out btw :) ) You have Played Lechery in scale with Goliath not on the field so it does nothing during the most important part of your opponents turn. You can summon Goliath off Hieratic Seal turning on Lechery but it has 0/0 and dies to any monster summoned with attack points. Before You even use Seal bounce your opponent gets free reign to use all their powerful Spells before you have Lechery active. This play is a 4 card combo since you need the additional card for Gae Dearg to add Lechery. quiping 4 monsters to Barcha is a trap, summoning Tempest from deck to banish off REDMD is a trap, forcing Saryuja to draw cards is a trap. All of these things look good on paper for the combo, but they are actually making your combo inefficient because you are adding extra stuff that doesnt need to be there to it, making your combo harder to perform, and ending on the exact same or worse boards as not doing those plays.

can u make a super comp version of the deck. something consistent and not as prone to handtraps and stuff. less risk less reward but more chance for a comeback if the field is broken . im new to the deck and i wanna see some combos that can get through a handtrap or two if possible. maybe a increase of the amorphage monsters?? idk would be entertaining .

This deck cannot be competitive in any way shape or form. The deck is naturally prone to every hand trap in the game ruining it. There are zero combos that can play through a handtrap. There are zero builds that can "comeback" because the deck is naturally fragile. If this ideal version of the deck existed I would already be playing it, and this video would never have been made, because I would be showing you how to do that, rather than look at this combo this is cool but it sucks

I think it only affects it just getting a tiny bit more consistent at getting to Darkwurm. But it's scale effect isn't really that good of an extender. And Darkwurm is already a 7 of if you want it to be. Revolution Dragon would require you to still have to open Dragon Ravine to make use of that Darkwurm you add vs Shrine not having that issue.

after im summoning pisty, it doesn't triggered anything to special summon from anywhere, and also theres no activation effect from it. so the only one way to summon gae darg back to the field is, link summoning darkness metal from ex deck first, and then special summon gae darg by the activation effect of darkness metal, but gae darg effect is negated because of the effect of darkness metal. so the problem is, i just can create darkness metal, ascalon and (gae darg in defense position) + 2 useless tuner, cause it doesnt allowed me to special summon again from extra deck after i special summoning gae darg. i need help!

You are using Darkness Links effect too early. Which says you cannot link summon for the rest of the turn. You have Gae Dearg and 2 Tuners out. The noly thing I can assume is you have 2 Couse on the field. Which you can only make Dragunity Synchros with. With your current field there is no Dragunity Synchro in the game you can make other than more copies of Ascalon. You just need to start doing the play properly where you use Pisty early, All the help you need is already in the video if you just watch it.

can't wait til wynn the wind medium comes out. I'm sure that some of these cards will be banned by then, but Wynn will drastically increase the consistency of whatever combos are available, and makes dux a lot more playable.

Wynn literally sucks in this deck tho. You can't Atum, You can't Spheres, You can't REDMD, You can't Guardragon combo. You can summon Stardust and pass but that wasn't even good enough in 2011.

I was hoping you would do one of those soon! I tried a personal variant around a week ago. I managed to end with Savage (Equipped with Saryuja), Crystal Wing, Number 38 and a Spheres that specials into Goliath. It goes into 3 Saryujas to guarantee you have all the necessary resources. RedMD-> Leyvatein-> Tuner is so free lol

Nono i mean in the extra deck. Like i consistently used 13 to 14 extra deck slots when i was doing the titanic galaxy boards. I get the process of how it works despite it seeming excessive since if you got that far you were already playing and probably had an ending board in reach already.

Though I should note, I am not utilizing the Steam + Spheres combo The extra is 3x Saryuja 1x Romulus 1x Spheres 1x Elpy 1x Pisty 2x Vajryana (the 1 extra is for scenarios where you cant revive the Gae Daerg so you make it to go into Crystal/Savage) 1x Gae Daerg 1x Barcha 1x Crystal Wing 1x Savage Dragon 1x Harbinger 1x Atum

I already have the full combo to make Goliath and Lechery with 2 negates figured out for this new format. And there's no need to plan for REDMD being HOPT. That errata isnt even out in Japan yet. We probably wont get it for a year.

You are all looking at this wrong for a few reasons: 1. The REDMD errata doesn't matter until we get it. 2. Last I checked, Buster Whelp thru Union Carrier or equipping it to Leyvaten (the old way we did it years ago) still doesn't prevent your opponent from activating Spells which are kinda powerful right now thus making this infinitely stronger of a play. 3. Even with the REDMD errata and the current forbidden and limited list this combo is still possible with the same starting parameters and ending on the same/better ending board. The Steam ban forced me to optimize sections of the combo and make them less flashy, that new combo works with both current REDMD and already is future proofed for errata REDMD (which happened literally on accident cause like I said before, that REDMD errata doesnt matter until it has a TCG printing, we can take as many as 3 years to get errata'd cards from Japan, example being Chaos Emperor Dragon)

200 iq play for going second: if u have already redmd and gae dearg on your field, you should not return to your hand redmd, try summon ascalon with gae dearg and couse instead, then banish all monster you can from your opponents field, then xyz 10 gustav, -2000 dmg, then xyz 11 liebe, direct 6000
