I can barely watch a lot of Sam's videos because he won't stfu and play, to the point that I actually start to feel a little anxious on behalf of his opponents.

Is this hated in the YuGiOh community? My wife and I find that it helps have a much smoother duel, but we do notice as we learn the cards it becomes less important. We tend to summarize the effect, but we still read a lot

@@dx7gaming Reading cards is fine, although if you go to a larger tournament, it's generally advisable that you already be familiar with most of the cards and strategies that you would be most likely to play against. Otherwise you run the risk of spending too much time reading cards and you may end up going into time. Personally, I don't have any problem with talking during a match so long as it doesn't get too distracting. The problem with what Sam does in his videos is that his opponents can't hear him. They're not aware that a video is being made, they only know that their opponent is taking so long to make his plays that the turn clock almost runs out. And these aren't short combos by any means. Even if he wasn't talking to the camera, these combos would still take several minutes to complete. And all the while, he doesn't say a word to his opponent. There's nothing more boring in Yugioh that sitting there while your opponent combos off and builds an unbreakable board.

Already started playing it on dueling books. It still bricks but you can always end on a number 38 and at least 3 HT. Not bad for blue-eyes. Just need to get a couple cards and ill be ready for locals when they open.

Halqifibrax and/or Linkross should be the first to go imo... but it's so complicated. Getting rid of Linkross doesn't stop Halq from going into Auroradon with Jet Synchron and pulling out O-Lion, though, so if Linkross goes, it might be Auroradon or O-Lion/Jet's time to go too. I can see why targeting Martial Metal Marcher is a line of thinking too.

Halqifibrax won't be hit, and I'll be absolutely shocked if it does. Linkross...I dunno, that's a harder call--I think Martial Metal Marcher is the biggest issue with how much it allows you to extend. I'd wanna see MMM banned, and probably O-Lion (token generation is always dicey).

Neither, it's both fun and oppressive both now and back in 2005. If you want to play Goat Format, Duel Links/Speed Duel, or Rush Duels, nobody is stopping you. Even currently, most boards are quite breakable, but if you remove certain cards, other decks will dominate. Be thankful it's from the coolest monster ever created: THE BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!

You can use them as discard fodder, they are essential for alternative, you play white stone for that purpose, yet drawing a blue eyes is still a brick???

Meanwhile it does nothing on its own but brick your hand up. Blue-eyes is a BRICK.

NO!!! Needliefiber does not need to be hit. Linkross does. Needlefiber takes 2 monster to summon and summons only one monster. LINKROSS takes one monster to summon and can sp summon 2 token monsters. Linkross seems illegal COMPAREd to needlefiber
