Interesting! I didn't expect for you to go the Yang Xing Route :) . The Upgraded list I played last week after building your $30 dollar budget deck around with before my next set of current upgrades that haven't come in the mail. I chose to still run a normal engine package so rescue rabbit, 3x Sabersarus, and 2x Unexpected Dai, This allowed me to have access to Turn 1 Laggia/ Dolka or other explosive plays you normally only see out of the Diagram build, and the reasoning behind Sabersarus is to maximize on my potential for True King Litho to Banish cards from my opponents extra deck. I also still love 2x Tyrano infinity for the extra Surprise OTK factor. Turns out its CRAZEY $$$ expensive to upgrade. I picked up 3x of the new Dinosmasher's Fury reprint a few days ago and am hoping it will be a fun and MUCH CHEAPER deck to build for local play. [if it ever starts up again] It would be great to get a 2020 update to this build. That is one of the things I like so much about the dinosaur deck... It can be so competitive at such a relatively cheap price that isn't fair to some of the higher tier decks that are more expensive and to cheap/fun decks because of how powerful it can be

It's a shame all competitive decks don't top out around the $100 price range.Aside from being too expensive, this game is bad at keeping a variety of decks at a similar competitive level. For the number of cards that drop every other month, you'd expect a lot more to be viable.

So pretty good build, but i have some doubts/suggestions, First, Why no Lost World/terra?. I think it gives the deck a good control over the oponent with the tokens and the fact that you're opponent can't target monster if they have the token, next off, I play one Barhastos, even do we don't run Megalosmasher because it, has good sinergy in all aspects, and it does not go above 4 bucks, and for the extra deck, i run apart from all those XYZ, one copy of Silent Honor ARC, mostly because you can steal anything from your opponent and it can protect itself one time, and just because i got lucky and have them since a long time, I indeed run Trishula, Hi - speedroid chanbara and Naturia Beast (because of All calamities), they give the deck a preety good mid game and OTK potential, and to ran off i do not play the Yang zing engine (except for DengLong) because by playtesting, you can get some cloggy hands with them, so i cut them off and run a Kaiju engine, because it's more board clearance and in the worst case scenario you don't have to waste your oviraptors effect to search for Dogoran, well that's it, what dou you think off this kinda build?

A friend of mine made the same budget Dino (with some changes to extra and minus Yang Zings with Lost World instead): To minimize on the cost of Jurrac Aelo (which was higher than $7 at time he made deck also), he opted for Jet Synchron as budget option and it seem to work pretty well. But excellent deck profile (Y) Really like those decks that take the cost into consideration!

i run dino metal foe with 3 lost worlds and 2 terra and they are usually never dead.My build is probably around the same cost as cimooooo's. However i fill that if you arent able to afford diagram then you need to run lost world. Its to good not to. The field spell just creates such great synergy with Ovi rapture. play field spell, summon baby or ovi rap depending on if you have a metalfoe. get token. search either misal. or ultamate conductor . use ovi to pop token , negate with the field spell by duping baby. then get the baby search.You then have 2 in grave to summon the big guy and u can overlay for laggia or dokka . Most duels when you see the field spell it puts you in a much better situation than if you didn't see it. also once your opponent realizes how good of a field spell it is they will quickly try to destroy it which is y you need more than one. I mean if your gonna run it then u want to see it right? so u put it in at 3.

I had 2 diagram for the longest so I threw lost world to make 3 fields. It's a double edged sword concerning otks. I've had times where I or the opponent was staring down 9000+ damage but had to knock off 2000 because lost world debuffed everything.

he is also forgetting to add in that the 500 atk loss that Lost World causes for non-dino monsters helps aid Ragnazero's effect better too! (I read your comment namison06 which mentioned the debuff effect) I love Lost World I run 3 of it in my build. My build is pretty similar to Cimo just I dont run the yang zings. Just 2 conductor, 1 dogoran, 3 litho, 2 water true king(wish I had least 1 the fire but water is my denglong fire plus I usually get off litho's extra deck banish effect like say 8/10) 1 aeolo, 1 infinity, 3 ovi, 3 of each baby, 3 misc. 3 fossil dig, 3 terra, 3 lost world, 2 twin twister, 2 instant fusion (against brothers we still allow 1 norden -- house rules) 1 raigeki, 1 foolish, 1 burial and 1 circumstantial tech I added in of mask change 2 (for dark law cause my brothers hate him and its funny when I get him off). 3 quaking, 1 warning and 1 strike (waiting to get a second one still). Extra deck is: 1 calamaties, 1 utopia the lightning, 1 utopia ray and utopia, 2 laggia, 1 dolkka, 1 ragnazero, 1 abyss dweller, 1 F0, 1 trishula, 1 nat beast, 1 denglong, 1 dark law and 1 norden. (that is my version irl right now) not the greatest and maybe its like tier 2 and not tier 1 like the normal True King Dino but I think its powerful as is and it utilizes Lost World.

I personally would change the deck this way. - 1 body as a shield -1 Leo +1 starlight road +1 stardust dragon could also take out the second body as a shield and samurai for second copies. with people potentially running or siding double dark hole, raigeki, and Kaiju slumbers it's an amazing combo to have. I also enjoy negating twin twister with it as well.

El Pulga it doesnt run any vanillas so lost world is either gonna be slow, or inconsistent i believe. also with all the wyrms this deck is running plus extra deck monster, the debuff might bite your own ass. thats what i think anyway :)

KOTORINGFIRE ! The tokens I believe count as vanillas so you can try to blow them up then pop the babies using lost world's effect. Also, Oviraptor's second effect can destroy any lvl 4 or lower dinosaur from anywhere on the field.

when i said its too slow or inconsistent, thats exactly what i meant. to pop the eggs which DO count as vanillas without entering battle phase, you need oviraptor. the fact that its a two card combo to pop the egg efficiently (it also requires a dino in the grave which is sometimes not the case because of UCT or Miscellaneousaurus ) or it takes away your battle phase to extend your plays makes it so that although it is still a decent card, lost world cannot be justified with the limited deck space we have available. Also you have to get rid of diagram to play it or you have to get rid of it to play diagram which is extremely counter intuitive.

Awesome video, but I'd honestly say two copies of dolka is better than two laggia. From my personal experience the double dolka has saved me more than Laggia, but that's my experience. I've been running dino's since the structure deck came out, and I think I'm gonna rebuild my deck with this video in mind. :)

Hey I have I question about the lost world field spell. One of its effects is that if a token is summoned to the opponents side of the field, effects from the opponent can only target the token. Does this mean that current effects I have, like equip cards or wall of revealing light stop working or is it only effects post-activation? It's just really unclear, if it does effect cards already in play, would they be destroyed. My understanding was that it has to say something like "all current effects also apply". If it does do that, then it's a bit op

DigimonVids if they control a token, only that token can be targeted for effects, so say your opponent uses raigeki break they would only be able to target the token if you have Monsters on your field, Or spell and trap cards.

And correct, equip cards would only be able to target the token, and wall of revealing light doesn't target so it stays active. I don't recommend playing it though since decks generally run back row removal and can easily pop it so it's a waste of life points

I'm surprised I haven't seen many if any dino decks running Jurric Gallim into Jurric Meteor option. Being all dinos it is a bit more searchable in case of emergency, and you get a Tuner monster from the grave (Gallim or Aeolo most likely), so there a few more plays you can build off of from there. Also it's still a dino itself ;)

Dinos are a solid choice, whether True King or Pure Dinos. Do note, True King Lithosagym, Denglong, and Max C are banned and Miscellaneousaurus and Dark Hole are Limited (to 1).

I just got back into Yugioh, so this question may seem elementary. How does babycerasaurus combo with soul eating oviraptor? Doesn't babycerasaurus require it to not only be sent to the graveyard via card effect, but also be destroyed? If I'm not mistaken, soul eating oviraptor only sends cards from the deck to the graveyard but does not destroy it. The same question also applies to petiteranodon.

You use his second effect that destroys a dino on the field to summon one from the grave to trigger the babies or you combo with lost world, give the opponent a dino token, then oviraptor's second effect to target the token and lost world can protect the token by destroying a baby in the deck, triggering it's effect.

I personally believe lightning vortex would work good in this deck considering the monsters that have effects when sent to the grave and it's literally discount raigeki

So many garnets in this deck imo. Try 3x sabersaurus or 3x megalosmasher with 2 darkhole, 2 dai, 1 painful decision with only 1 pteradon. Add survivals end to taste.

Quick two questions Can Virgil, rock star of the burning abyss, activate its effect during the damage calculation or battle phase? Also can I special summon Ultimate conductor tyranno with the effect of Petiteranodon?

You can't summon Ulti Cond Tyranno with Petit.(Read UCT summoning conditions). And Virgil can activate in the battle phase.

How do you get to your Yang Zing Synchro monsters ( besides Denglong)? Seems pretty difficult to get to any high level Synchros.

You summon Baxia by using(mostly) after you summoned Denglong back off of Call of the Haunted or Oasis after It has been destroyed by Nine Pillars and search Bi'an off of Denglong then normal summon It and summon Baxia.
