Corey Plant just asking because I never really played or faced dinosaur all that much other then drop big bodys you maby break your board? If I remember correctly they don't really have any control cards and are not exactly a deck tht can turno through hand traps. Tho this is just my dangerous half knowlage about the deck, could you tell me what (besides the obvious true king support you got frommthe banlist) dinosaur does in order to be a top strategie, that goes double since last time a checked it was not even worth being a rouge deck before.

@@shion126 Dino has a few support cards which help it get through hand traps and proceed into its combos. The biggest is miscellaneousaurus which is chanable to hand traps, and after activated makes all of your dinos unaffected by your opponents activated effects. This also stops impermanence. Another important note is lost world, which puts a token on your opponents field, and then stop your opponent from targeting your monsters. Run a couple called by the grave and that's usually all its got. The only main benefit for dino is its capability to line up follow up cards after a hand trap or negation, such as double evo pill. The true king support just enables bigger beat sticks and a faster method to pop babies for free Simmons from the deck. Even if the effect of the true king card is hand trapped or negated, the cards it destroyed to summon itself will still trigger. All in all Dino has always been this good, it was just never top tier with the dominant striker, orcust and thunder meta over the past year. It's just now finally able to shine 😇

Corey Plant I see, that does make it able push through control deck quite ok and enough I would say, I also have been playing a bit against it online and I say that they also have an xyz that can negate monster effects so I guess in that sense they also got a bit control beside the truue king aupport and while I still don't get why some people like to go first with this deck as It really doesn't do a whole lot of board besides an easy OTK that can even break apart some good control boards so I can see it being one of the better decks this format. And while I understand some people that they want to trigger the true king effect as it is a very powerfull card it is just not consistent enough in my eyes to go first except you go against a deck that is bad at going second of course. But that just might be my control deck hearth that thinks the going first board of dino kind of sucks because it cannot really put any interruptions except minor things on the board and because I often don't really have that much of a hard time to stop dino from going of with my control decks like frog that often have first turn toad plus 2 to 3 solemns pretty much all the time since you can now run 9 in the deck again.

@@shion126 yes exactly, the rank 4 engine in and of itself is a small control. Another bonus in going first with some dino strategy is that I can set up an Appolusa with 4 negates and a Dolkka xyz which gives you 6 interrupts. But yea overall it's a consistent deck, not the best, but a very fun play style, with lots of potential.

@@kennygallagher4700 basic economics is not enough to explain the price variables of the secondary market. It's often the first thing people point out as it's the most known economic concept. F.ex. some elements of Nicholas Kaldor's magic square (economics) will inevitably find their way into the understanding of yugioh finance. Precisely, prices are also influenced by price stability. Because yugioh cards are often short term investments due to other variables (banlist, reprints, etc), the price stability isnt really that high (excluding the collector's market). That shows in several panic modes when demands shoot high, offers cant follow and prices will spike (offer & demand, as you said). On the other hand, price stability is also influenced in predictions or as a lot of sellers call it: "smart investments". This results in buyouts and way too high initial prices for pre-release listings, which again predict starting lines for new card prices. Sellers often "blame" offer/demand for high prices, because they dont want to be blamed for too high prices or simply have no elaborated skills when it comes to ecomonics. Simply put, the motif of greed as a fundamental force that drives the listing of (too) high prices isn't just a customer's anger showing. It's often the reason, average skilled sellers (which is like 90% of the yugioh secondary market) list prices too high without really understanding how propper, financial growth will be achieved with more complex strategies.

I played Endymion so I would know that Electrumite isn't needed to play it, but almost every other Pendulum deck is dead without her because of MR4. Besides, a single event is not enough, once people figure out how to counter Endymion, people will realise how easy it is to disrupt them with well timed interruptions.

Gren Maju is a competitive budget deck because I built the pure danger! version and got the fairy tale build. Most expensive cards for the fairy tale build was Golden Castle, Dingirsu, and gizmek. I built the fairy tale build for like $97 but I also already had the gren majus, dingirsu, pot of desires, and all the dangers already. And 1 gizmek.

I would consider extravagance-less altergeists a competitive budget deck. It sucks not having the draw power but you can replace with desires and try to not use it until after you tutor the faker. Thats what i used to do before i got my extravagance. Didnt always work but i still had a decent w/l ratio

My fav budget decks are my six sams deck which is only 30-40$, legendary fisherman deck which is 40$, and lair of darkness deck which is just three structure decks with fang of critias cards thrown in, they arnt “meta” but when I bring them people TYPICALLY don’t know how to react as they’re prepared for “meta”

I still can't believe not one Yugioh youtube content creator has not noticed we had a chance to do GOAT format in 2019-2020. DAD (Dark Arm Dragon) was at two; Orcust Harp Horror was legal; Black Salvo; Wandering King Wildwind makes it happen: If you control a Fiend-Type Tuner with 1500 or less ATK, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If you attempt this, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Synchro Monsters. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 Fiend-Type Tuner with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand. Now...DAD is at three, OHH is banned, and I am absolutely sad. I don't know how far it would go competitively, but knowing GOAT format from 15 years ago was available?! It's a complete miss for the community.

I wish Photon Orbital wasn't so pricey, Galaxy-Photon would make for a pretty good competitive (high tier 2~) deck at the moment. It has very strong boss monsters, lots of extender, is quite consistent and can recycle a lot. It has 3 negates at least each turn, can be mixed with some Mekk-Knights and has a board that is very hard to break. And it's gonna get 3 very powerful cards soon. Too bad it costs a galaxy to buy it. EDIT : And has the strongest counter-trap in the game.

I may not play rokkets myself, but a guy at my locals does and he is a rokket master! He told me the same thing and after seeing the deck in action, it's pretty good, just watch out for abyss dweller (tho most decks watch out for that anyways)

@@sebastianscopa3188 The problem is that the deck dies to Nibiru hard. Unlike Salads, cos Salads can come back if they survive a single turn due to being so recursive, Rokkets don't come back. Other than that, I would be hard pressed to put this in as a competitive budget deck, for the sole reason that I think for the deck to be competitive, you defo need the most expensive dragons out there (the likes of Levianeer and Starliege Seyfert). World Legacy cards aren't that cheap either. I do have a budget version of Rokkets but I don't think it's going anywhere competitively.

Would you consider now the Magical Hero box is out Dark Magician to be a possible option for a strong/strong-ish option? Dark Magicians are always in print, Apprentice Illusion has become affordable and its easier to get now its a super rare and it helps with plays or setting up a defence Magician Navigation is a rare and if you grab some extras on the side like Eternal Soul and a spellbook engine youre away! Maybe the worst youre spending on a card is £10-15 on The Dark Magicians (fusion card)

Honestly my list of budget decks that will be competitive in upcoming format would be Any variation synchro deck D/D/D Paleozoic frogs I have these 3 decks and abc dragon buster and their all less than 100 bucks, maybe even less than 60 bucks since most cards cost a few cents, most expensive would be your hand traps and maybe the frogs This is like balling on a budget and at least the 1st 3 dekcs listed will be super competitive Edit: i stopped playing for about 2 years after introduction of links so i woudnt call myself as educated and knowledgeable on new yugioh rulings other than what i hear or learn from yugitubers

831Crazylife I mean there deck is a pendulum deck... you need pendulum cards which are DDD to play that deck with consistency. meaning you can’t play cards that give it more consistency in the extra deck... that’s all I’m saying and I’m a D/D/D player... but the deck came out right before links and should have been given link support right of the bat and instead we waited two years and just give us back vanity’s to one and this deck would be a fair viable deck

Cimoooo, got an IMPORTANT Question! I can see "True Draco" as one of the competitive decks - for the current format. But what are the best replacements not only for the lost of two diagram, including two demise, but in terms of consistency!? What cards are the best to replace them for, or wich to include? Was thinking of two "mine" or (for erupt variant) two "domain of the monarchs" as replacements for diagram. Or one mine with metaverse, or what cards woud you include!? And what to include for draw power? Reckless greed, waterfall of dragon souls...or what other cards?? #pleaseanswerthisquestion! #fortruedracoplayers

Ive been testing a lot with what to go with now too and found the small spellbook engine of blue boy, 2 secrets and 1 knowledge works really well to replace the loss of demise!

Ive subbed demise with Magicians Souls, and its actually better. Set 2 draco spell/traps. Souls pops 2. Souls draw 2. Play heritage, draw 2 more. Extra normal summon. And if you have disciples you can yet draw again
