It was almost like it was actually playing, but it was just in my head. This helped me calm down, and I started to sing this song, and eventually, I woke up. My passion for ZeXal saved me from sleep paralisys.

Idk how it happened but Zexal might have become my favorite YuGiOh spinoff over 5Ds. Zexal was the one I watched on TV the most as a kid, it just makes me feel happy. Even just as an anime, the art style is awesome and vibrant, and the openings are top notch.

@@georgegkarlemos423 Not even close, what with the recap episodes, extremely forced first tournament, Crow and Kiryu worming their way into already established characters' backstories, Aki being gradually nerfed into uselessness, several instances of terrible reads by opponents that basically let protagonists win by sheer luck or stupidity (you can't equate this to Zexal's asspulls because 5Ds has Majestic Dragon do the same thing in addition to the aforementioned), and weird genre shift after the first main arc

I may not be a fan of Zexal overall but most of the Japanese openings and endings are fantastic, kudos to those who like zexal but it’s honestly not my cup of tea because I never had a strong attachment to all of the characters excluding a few in my opinion and at the end of the day, we all have our own preferences, not to mention that if there is one aspect of zexal that I do like is the overall OST. 🙂😇

I would tend to disagree. I found Yugi, Yusei Yuya to genuinely boring characters. Yuma was stupid but his dueling was pretty relatable how I got introduced to Yugioh

If that’s the way you put it then fair enough and in a way, Yuma is relatable to those who are learning or being introduced in which I do agree with that and boring is sort of an understatement and if you like him, that’s fine but it’s not my cup of tea, however I do acknowledge him as a interesting character from a objective and I will give him credit and design wise, he’s great and so unfortunate considering all the hate he gets, however if there one that I do like, its definitely his deck, quite fun to watch.
