This series is really underrated. round this point of the story we had Yuma surrounded by competing villain factions and Shark as a wild card. I was genuinely interested in how Yuma would navigate the minefield that was Heartland and the competing plots of Dr. Faker and Tron.

Really bad start. The first half of the first part is almost unwatchable. But it got way better, once Yuma could actually duel with deus ex Astra. It is kinda the opposite of Arc - V, which started really strong, had a good premise but kinda went downhill at the end.

While many classic Yu-gi-oh fans give this Zexal a hard time, this series is the one that got my little cousins into playing Yu-gi-oh. It has very good animations and as an adult, I still think the show is very appealing. My cousin has so much fun playing his Gagagas.

Honestly, Zexal is a homerun for me. The animation is good, both japanese and dub are good(minus english voices, those are not good), all openings(4kids-ops, japanese ops and korean ops) are good and xyz is a cool mechanic.

zexal is definitely my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh series. it’s second half is one of the best arcs in the franchise. it’s a shame that so many immediately dismiss it as bad because of the English dub and Yuma’s hair

Looking back, I cam appreciate series that have a lot of fun with comedy, humor and wholesome moments on top with epicness as well. I gave Zexal a hard time when it first came out but I quickly appreciated part way. I would even tell people to watch it's beginnings. It's fun, lighthearted at many times, at laughed out loud at times,, epic when it needed to be with a bow on top when it ended. I think people should give Zexal a chance because after I watched it thanks to my brother, I appreciated it way more and remember it fondly.

Episode 149 will be about Yuma and Zexel Kite battling each other and Yuma won by using Utopia to attack his Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon by using his trap card in his graveyard. Yugioh Zexel III will be about the Infinites who wants to take all of the Number cards and rule the World.

I dunno, op 4 fits the less serious tone of the beginning of Zexal II. During that point in the story we were back to monster of the week plotlines with the Barians sending a bunch of expendables to pad the series out. Then when Vector puts his plan into action, OP 5 is all action and drama, which fits the constant revelations of the Barians remembering their past and the duels against the Number Guardians. And opening 6 is pretty somber, which fits because every other episode of the final arc someone fucking dies. But its also uplifting because Yuma's bonds create hope for everyone he meets.
