Engineering management is a good degree program to get into if you're someone who likes engineering or has a previous engineering background when you were doing your bachelors in whatever engineering course you were taking but the engineering manager is a bridge between the engineering Department and the administration.

At that point while researching just found out that there are some courses like MIM, MEM and MIS. But did not know which course to take out of those 3 . hi brother thanks for your video. i have a question. My academics is completely focused in Management. I have already completed my MBA specializing in Finance. Now i am currently working in a bank in a department which is a mixture of IT and management. After working in this department i felt a need of studying a technical degree. So, is it okay if i do another Master's degree in MIS or not. I would love to work in something that allows me to use my creative mindset (visionary). Maybe jobs related to like Creative Director, Content Creator, Marketing, Consumer Behavior stuff, maybe even Graphic Design, UI/UX, Front End Dev to be able to create things people like or see, etc. I’m not really too interested in coding but I know it is a good skill to learn and have because it will take you places, but I personally am not a person that enjoys being part of the process to make things work, rather I am the one that likes to be creative with my ideas and tell them to people and kind of be in the process of the making. Basically, I don’t want to do the work of developing my ideas but I probably wouldn’t mind if I have to also do part of the work to make my ideas come to life. EDIT: here’s some context I am a computer science major at the moment and I am confused whether I should make the switch to MIS or idk maybe IT, because I originally wanted to become a business major. Now I’m introduced to the very technological side of computer science, I am like 50/50 with my decision now. I really was drawn to business because I feel very business minded as a person, but now I am not too sure and am really confused. I am scared that if I major in something that isn’t computer science, and instead something more business focused, I might regret my switch later on in the future.

Information systems will train you in every aspect of running a business and preparing you for engineering management but I had a specific focus on IS when I was doing my MSEM. It truly is a game-changer because the engineering manager has first-hand knowledge of business operations and IS will prepare you for this.
