In China or maybe and Russia, mainstream that color painting by oil, acrylics are starting this way. Outline all the subjects and certify the light and dark part. And then detailed.

Of course its edited. Its a presentation of process not a tutorial. I fail to see what part makes no sense. It jumps from blocked in colors and tones to blended colors and tones.

oil on canvas panel, Size: 8x8 in, This is a painting commissioned in early 2014, the painting took a few hours, this video is a compilation of clips from the whole thing, I had to remove a lot to make this video shorter then the actual time.
