It's a lot more disturbing in the manga and Toei Anime where it was called "penalty game" (except for the Tea flashback where he mind crushed a mugger while in the manga and Toei anime the escaped convict burned to death without even getting a penalty game) frankly. In fact, Seto based the holograms on the last part of Death-T (which was adapted into the first episode of the anime along with the setup for the Death-T arc) on his experience with getting the penalty game. He wanted Yugi to go through that experience, not realizing that Atem would never be phased by that kind of thing because regardless of if Atem remembered or not, he had experience with _real_ monsters.

Makes sense considering his voice line for playing Kaibaman in Duel Links. I have it in my Blue-Eyes deck for him. Weird that there are now three Duel Monsters characters with Blue-Eyes as an ace with Solomon Moto being added (he mentions Seto let everyone use the card in Duel Links. He also discussed with Pegasus about him not printing more copies, which was apparently because Blue-Eyes was always meant to wind up with Seto, a fact that would absolutely piss off Seto to no end)

I love the fact that Seto would not only allow his brother to make that card but also be defensive about it, its the perfect way of him swallowing his pride for the one thing that matters his brother and its not like this is not the first card his brother made for him and he treasured so on brand. I have a few friends of mine rewatch the english dub and then these vidoes again just for how on point the characters are kind of fun to see the tools for entertainment are there besides swearing or shock jokes.

Honestly that bit with Mokuba kinda pulled at the heart strings! I love that Seto loudly interrupted Joey so he couldn't insult the card anymore, then goes off on him with what is genuinely a very true statement and great line, "There's nothing worse than a moron who thinks he knows what he's talking about" before walking off with Mokuba, with Joey apologetically going after him. Suddenly time shenanigans happen, Atem is confused and a bit dumbfounded, but still prioritizes the opportunity to save the friggin' day with his rapid adjustment and quick thinking! Now Mokuba's happy and Joey gets to be Captain Obvious. Quick thinking Yugi, thanks for speaking up! That said, I am a little confused on if Atem was comedically patting himself on the back with that comment and using "Yugi" to refer to himself since that's who he's associated with (even in his own eyes), or if he was lampshading that Yugi was actually the one who quickly gave him the line and he just jumped at the advice, thanking Yugi afterwards for giving him a fix for the upcoming situation. It was a little ambiguous since you had Yugi show up immediately afterwards - which lent credit to the latter possibility - though it didn't confirm it since Yugi didn't comment on it. That's the only little bit that I thought could've been done just a touch differently, and for it to have taken this long for me to find such a small nitpick really is a testament to the quality of your writing for this series, Hyde, which I realize I'm at risk of becoming a broken record about saying. You really deserve the subscribers you're getting, and while I'm always excited to see more of your work, I do hope you aren't burning yourself out over there! Though admittedly this does feel a lot more like a "labor of love" than a "job", it's clear you do put real work in. Thanks as always for the free, quality entertainment. o7

Ok. that time twist at 12:02 was a great means of story development. I honestly wasn't certain what was going on, *continues watching* By the Gods. this video series does not need a story element to it!!! You could easily just do tier deck lists, and humorous quips from the group, and I'd be all for that. As much as this series doesn't need a story, I'm just that much more excited to see where this goes. Your plot hooks are better than a lot of other media that I've seen. While it may be a while, I'm looking forward to seeing how far this goes.

imho (if we are going by the deck out of the box) Agents: B- (Requires a lot to go right but when it does go right, it booms) Dark World: F- (Goes without saying that this deck was a total disaster that was immensely inconsistent. I heard horror stories of how massively disappointing that structure deck was, even at 3 copies.) Dragons Collide: A- (Very solid, introduced players to chaos dragons at a time where they were the premiere meta. Only thing that held this deck back was it tended to start very slow at times but has the fewest brick options out of all 5 decks in this video) Six Samurais: B- (As a deck by itself from the box, this deck didn't give enough tools for players to truly see the full potential of the one Archetype that gave players Vietnam flashbacks during late 5D's. No Shi En, No Asceticism, no Kagemusha, lots of Bricks, needed to be at 3 copies PLUS more support from Storm of Ragnarok and/or, the Ra Yellow Mega pack to be even remotely competitive. Atlanteans: C (Needed to be a 3 copy budget deck to see any usefulness as the single deck itself would almost always brick to oblivion)
