Johnnie Li In that case a deck that's pretty cheap I'm having success with is DDD with Denko main decked. Denko hardly bothers your game plan, but it's really good vs certain decks in the current meta like Paleozoic and Metalfoes. Besides Denko and some choice cards like allure of darkness and maxx c (all of which are staples to have for other decks), the deck is dirt cheap.

granted I may not have the same experience as the rest of you but I still feel like maining d fissure and macro to be the way to go. look at today's meta and look at what those cards do. if you go against paleoz, metalfoes, or ABC they can all play under ophion first turn but pairing it with a macro then they quickly run out of plays. ophion doesn't really hit hero's or paleoz or ABC so maining a card that can completely stop them is worth it in my opinion. hero's are hurt the least but it still helps starve them from recycling resources. and with new D/D/D , why not run the macro and d fissure?

it needs to be a direct attack, where storming can be any form of an attack. they're both good for different situations so there shouldnt be that big of a difference when deciding on which one you play.

Devin Baldon Desires is not needed in the deck, run the triple allure, it's a better option for the deck, and I haven't had any issues with running 3 pandemics in my deck. You can make the brick argument all day but every deck can and will brick on occasion, desires may help you out with it but every time I have tested desires it's always gone bad for me, either a sh*t mill or a terrible draw. I don't know what desires price is in the states but when I left it was 95$, it's not as good as its price tag implies

+Ben Yates It has gone bad for you, but that doesn't mean it is unnecessary. It is all personal preference, so it is a matter of opinion if you think it is not needed. Also, most meta players can afford the card, so the price tag is irrelevant.
