I love the 5ds duel disk it’s my favorite my second favorite duel disk is the gx but the 5ds reminds me just on a real duel disk

pretty sure the GX disk works with sleeves considering the spacings, you just need the sleeves appropriately sized for yugioh cards. also the oricalchos disk also allows the retracted "blade" to rotate to be less in the way.

It does, but the Deck Zone fits -exactly- 40 cards, and it does so tightly. The graveyard also barely holds any cards, so I wouldn’t recommend using it. IMHO, the best options for gameplay are the Proplica Duel Disk and the 2010 Yusei Duel Disk. Both fit sleeved cards comfortably, and both have slots for Extra Deck and banished.

There ended up being an issue with the spring on the deck holder for the 5d duel disk. The second one changed it back to the style of the gx duel disk.

Ah, the Duel Disk. I remember getting my Duel Disk when they first came out. Played against quite a few of the neighborhood kids back then. Here I am, an adult, and I still find novelty in it. Though, now I may look up on how to make my own Duel Disk so the strap doesn't squeeze my arm so much. All in all, good video. (Out of the series, GX and 5D's are my favorites. Mainly cause I saw the full ending of each.)

I have the American release of the the GX duel disk and its sleeve friendly but it can only fit around 40 to 50 cards in it (sleeved or unsleeved). I think GX is the best season too! Get your game on!

Childhood memories. I had the default GX duel disk as a kid, then played Tag Force 3 and realized the existence of the color coded versions of these disks, so I then took the red tape we had and put it on the disk accordingly, so it looked like the Osiris red version. I had some cards, the duel disk and all, but the only thing missing was a sibling or a friend to play the TCG with, but I sure as hell had a blast roleplaying with it by myself. Unfortunately I don't have the duel disk with me anymore. Love the vid, took me back.

5Ds is my favorite season of Yu-Gi-Oh. There were so many good characters, Yusei Fudo quickly became a fan favorite of mine. The first deck I made in Master Duel was Yusei's. Kalin/Kiryu was also another favorite of mine. He was such a good guy, deep down. Love it!

I had the gx one just ordered it again after having my old one stolen. But I remember that it fit sleeved cards not sure if I was using small cases or not but I remember it being the only one to hold sleeved cards until the Yusei model.

Only thing he got backwards was the Graveyard and Deck placement. It’s also able to be used with card sleeves. It also comes with an insane amount of stickers but since his was secondhand, there weren’t any left aside from the red sticker on the LP counter.

I have that red disk and love it to death. I dunno if it’s just mine or if my wrists are too big but sometimes the plastic bit you wrap your hand around on mine sometimes pops off so I have to reattach it. Has that happened on yours? also quick note, there was a second revised 5DS disk that had an extra deck slot and I think a banished zone. Idk if they changed anything else tho

Damn, I'm not a fan of GX but out of all Duel Disks, I loved the red GX duel disk.... Too expensive lol. I'll go with the 5Ds duel disk; 5Ds is my favorite and out of all YGO protagonists, Yusei is awesome. Plus sleeve friendly too lol.

I'm assuming you didn't know that there was a second better 5D's duel disk. I have both 5D's duel disks, the academy disk original version (academy disk is actually sleeve friendly), the fight disk (you got the deck and graveyard slots on there wrong btw), and the proplica duel disk with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens duel disk on the way. I just need to replace the battle city and chaos duel disks and I need to get the Osiris red academy duel disk. All that aside, great review!

If you want one to play with, I recommend either the Proplica Duel Disk or the Duel Disk Yusei 2010. Both can accept sleeved cards comfortably and have slots for Extra Deck and Banished. If you get creative, you can absolutely use them to support Xyz, Pendulums, and Links.

8:14 the reason the orichalcos duel disk is lighter is because all you have to do is pull it out compared to the battle city duel disk where it has mechanics for its transformation

the only downside to the battle city Duel disk is there's no slot for your fusion deck (or Extra deck/ side deck). But I'm sure you can modify the Battle City Duel disk to use sleeved cards.

I actually own the Yusei Fudo duel disk, but not the one you have. Mine is the 2010 version, with differences include adding a cover on the bottom of the blades to prevent your opponent from looking at your spell and trap cards. It also has more graveyard space where you can now put up to 30 sleeve cards. Though they remove the flip action feature which you misinterpreted as "locking your cards.". It even came with a dueling calculator which I still use to this day.

While I love the design of the Chaos Duel Disk, I gotta go with GX as my favorite. I grew up with GX, but was able to watch the og with my older cousin. I actually just scored on the Osiris Red Disk on Ebay and I couldn't be more stoked to get it, my first duel disk. Love the channel!

for the yusei disk, you're supposed to keep the slot down when it's in face down defense and swing it up when it's face up. pretty much you're always going to have them standing

I’m roughly a minute into the video, I have a few notes. The music is too loud and it drowns out some of your speaking volume. I’m assuming you’re not using a microphone near by. I’d recommend buying a microphone to station near you or clip on to your collar. The energy is great and the music itself is a great touch for the topic. It’s the volume of your voice fighting the music volume that is a little distracting. That’s all. This seems like a good video so I will continue watching the rest but just wanted to give some feedback 😁 Keep up the good work otherwise!
