A nice way TCG can celebrate 25th is maybe do a release of special booster, containing all uncensored version of Kazuki's hand-drawn artwork cards in 25th Secret rarity, so think Magi Magi, Horakhty, etc. This would also let us celebrate his legacy in honour of his passing :(

Man it's crazy how much better OCG cards look. Was there ever a reason for having different print quality? I would love to see the classic Ultimate rares of SDK, SDJ, SDY, as well as Black luster soldier and B Skull dragon. The original ultimate's that the OCG got of these cards are beautiful!

For the TCG, I would like Konami to incorporate some of the following ideas: 1- Platinum Dark Magician / DMG / or Exodia 2- Give us Kaibas briefcase 3- Reboot the Anime? Spin-off about children of Yugi? 4- 25th Anniversary pack which contains a random assortment of Fan favorites from LOB-Recent sets, with maybe 4-5 starlights of specific iconic cards from each generation. (DM- Kuriboh, Gx- Flare Wingman, 5Ds- Junk Warrior) 5- Maybe host a 25th anniversary event celebration?

I think a neat way TCG can celebrate the 25th anniversary is to have the Lost Art promos in the 25th secret rarity. Maybe add some foil on the back of the card so one can appreciate the whole card and not just the front.

This is just a dream, yet for the 25th or any other annyversary I would LOVE tcg cards to be printed again the with upper deck quality, font size, colors, boarders, and all of that. Some people cant tell the difference between an ultra rare card before and after UDE. To me, till this day, it has never been the same. And the secret rares, oh man

Just came up with an excessive interesting way to make these QCSR different from the starlight in a big way! Foil the edges and back of the card with the starlight technology! So the only surface that isn't foiled in traditional starlight fashion is the text box! So have it be a full and I mean full starlight front and back and edges! With the proper lettering and the 25th stamp! Bam easy!

I think the red sleeves are gorgeous! I really want to get the OCG Dark Magician Girl accessories, I think the OCG versions look so much nicer than the TCG. I would love a set like this to come over to the TCG or something like Haunted Mine again with the guaranteed Ghost Rares.

I have one of these boxes coming in today really excited to open it, and hoping for a high rarity Change of Heart! I really think the TCG could emulate this product somewhat and make people very happy. Having a wide pool of cards that come in multiple rarities is enticing even if a Starlight is guaranteed in every box because the possible choices would be something like 1:100. That said I still think the TCG Starlight prices would be affected very negatively at least in the short term if 20+ new cards were released in a look alike rarity so it's probably never going to happen.

This is a georgous set. The new enchanced foiling methods are super classy and super sick. Hope we get at least a similiar treatement in the tcg. For the 25th anniversary the should drop a set with completely exclusive cards. Full arts as 25th anniversary would be an exellent idea.

What I would love Konami to do for the 25th anniversary is: 1. Release a tin like they did in 2002/03 and include some of the best yugioh sets ever with amazing promos 2. Release starlight versions(or quarter century rares) of Blue eyes/Dark Magician/ and red eyes! They already did exodia so that’s lit 3. Reprint the cards but in the old school card format with the smaller artwork box and more rugged looking printing. They just looked so good. Everyone wishes tcg would print cards like ocg. Including me, they just look so good. Definitely gonna pick up some singles from that 25th anniversary set! Even the sleeves too!

The Ultimate Rares look gorgeous as well as the Quarter Century Rares! Can't wait to get a few soon! What I would really like Konami to do for the 25th Anniversary is with the reprinting of the first 6 original boosters, they actually make some of the cards like Blue-Eyes, DM, Red-Eyes in Legend of Blue-Eyes pack as Quarter Century Rare and/or maybe Ultimate Rare and other chase cards in the other 5 boosters. That would be a really neat surprise! And being bias here, they should release more Blue-Eyes support. Haha!

We'll see more quarter century rares in upcoming sets in both OCG and TCG, should be cool additions to the existing stuff, but wonder if they'll replace starlights in the core sets with these things or if they will only be printed in reprint sets and side/collectors sets

For the 25th anniversary I think a celebration of life for Mr. Takahashi would be nice. Perhaps take Shonen cards, main starter deck cards, and cards from tins spanning from the original series to 5DS and reprint them in nice rarities. Having some old non effect monsters in high rarities would be sweet.

These are searchable. I bought 15 loose packs from Amazon and there was no quarter century rare in the lot. It was replaced with a collectors rare pack. All other ratios were the same as a sealed box.

I would love to see reprints of each characters fav card with a comment from the characters on it. For example, Zane with Cyber End Dragon as a normal monster card and the flavour text says something to celebrate the 25th anniversary. Would have been nice to get 25th boxes for each series, not just DM. I really hope the Listen to their community, we are the reason, they can celebrate.

One thing I think KONAMI could do for TCG 25th is maybe do a re-creation of old-school tins? Theme based versus the mega tins they do now. And not necessarily retro yugioh but could do like a Baronne De Fleur Tin or Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon tin or something like that. I'd personally love to see it. Now gimme the mat bro.

The anniversary is so exciting I really hope Konami takes the chance to do something big! I’m a huge fan of the prints in the text box like the adidas logo and this 25th anniversary. I hope they print the TCG ones like that in the new collection coming and maybe give an extremely rare new rarity in it or the new booster boxes that would make them more than just nostalgic reprints as nice as those are lol

I love both versions of the ultimate rare, but what I’ve noticed is that the glossy coat on the newer version protects the outer boarder from being damaged. The older version has fantastic foiling, but was easily damaged or worn on the outer boarder of the card.

Although I am not well-versed in the world of Pokémon, it appears that there is a significant emphasis on foiled cards, which seems to appeal to a particular demographic (although I am uncertain who that might be). It seems that the OCG has also adopted this approach. While the TCG also features foiled cards, they are not as readily available. It appears that the TCG is attempting to broaden its appeal to a new audience or win back former players with the upcoming 25th-anniversary release. It’s a hard dilemma, and what would be better for the longevity of the game vs collectable community. Although I’m not a big collector rn I see myself collecting in the future when I have a better job. I would probably settle with collecting some of these newer prints like the starlight exodia collection. A lot to consider with this set, but other than a few prize cards I feel like this set doesn’t add a whole lot to the community other than the hype and bringing new players in to the game. (Which can also do a lot of good for the community) still safe to say I’ll by a display for the play set and nostalgia

This is how you do it! TCG gets shorted every time. This set has 80 cards and all 80 cards come in 5/6 different rarities! Ultra, secret, extra secret, ultimate, collectors, QCSR and 2 in holographic! You are pulling one QCSR in every 15 packs/one box and there are 24 boxes of 15 packs each! Doing the math, 4.16 cases to pull every QCSR in this set in the TCG set format, 3.33 cases in the OCG set format. Ash blossom QCSR is not on eBay, at other sites have it at $800 meaning it is likely really hard to pull that one meaning some of these are probably short printed! I hope Battles of legend Monstrous Revenge keeps what Crystal Revenge started 10 starlights, 1 per 13 boxes and for the QCSR they make all 40 secret rares have a QCSR reprint at 1 in 3 boxes, the QCSR all being alt arts and the 60 Ultras all getting ultra Pharaoh's rare reprints at 1 per box! Could you imagine? If only, that would make this set have such collector's value and would make hunting super fun? They would be easy enough to get like a CR but the large quantity of each would make getting any particular one difficult enough to justify the hunt!
