From what I’ve seen about CGC grading is they grade how PSA used to grade before they went insane. You could send in a perfect card that was slightly off center and easily get a 10. Now you’re lucky to get a 9 from psa. I’ve only subbed to CGC twice so far but I’m loving their system and their cases so far.

When I went to Japan and was looking at those black luster soldier cards- they most def are not psa 10a all around- of the three I saw two had print lines going through the holofoil

Love the video and really enjoyed seeing the collection. I'm right there with you about series 1. I fell in love with YuGiOh when I was a kid after buying some volume 1-7 and magic ruler packs from a local anime shop. I've been working on collecting the red and blue text cards lately. SBPR, 20th secrets, and rush duel red/blue text. I really enjoy unique pieces like that.

Yep, I absolutely agree with you on that Series 1 looking like Art with capital A. My main issue with yugiog compared to Magic or Pokémon are the super complex artworks on such a small canvas, Series one also given that the art is way simpler than nowadays kinda fixes that for me, love them. Also thank you so much fort the fashion haul xD

Quick question about the sweaters in the GU box, I know you showed us how they fit but, do you feel that they fit true-to-size or bigger/smaller? I know that the sizing on some clothes from Japan run smaller so I’m wondering about that

Usually found they fit smaller than usual. But with these, I usually wear XL and I think these were a tad bigger/true to size/

All copies of Chimaera Master of Beasts have those strange edges, almost as if the colour part was a layer glued on top of the cardboard. The envelopes with which they were given have 'ruined' them slightly in the back, which is why there are currently no copies graded 10 with BGS, but only with PSA which grades certain problems less. I own a 9.5 graded copy from BGS, picked up first raw for 250€ and confirm that the prices are ridiculous at present. I recently saw ebay auctions selling PSA 9 copies for around 300€. The current market does not do it justice. I agree with the estimate you made; between 400 and 600 copies must have been distributed in 2008.
