You can really have several variants for Ryu-Ge depending on which type you want to support out. Sea Serpent can disrupt hands, Dino is wide destruction, and Wyrm is high control.

What are thoughts on using Tokusano Shinkyojin for more draw over the usual suspects like pot of pros? You can easily pitch lvl10s for a basically free draw 2 in this deck. It doesnt really hurt to send off the Ryuge's effect monsters. Beyond this it can even help to trigger Kairo effect to special summon in grave.

Its kinda kwl, issue is quite like trade in, you need to the other card or its dead - it sends as cost so hurts most if you get ashed, but on the flip side as you mentioned can help trigger the sea serpent. I personally wouldnt play it over Prosp, but you could play prosp and maybe 1 or 2 shins. More so if the build you decide to run plays more level 10s. That being said I think each version can run different draw cards, maybe even extrav in versions that dont rely heavily on the extra, only card youd probs want at 3 would be varudras.

​@@zephyrwargamesyugioh I mostly agree, my only thing for why I think Shin is significantly better than trade in is that you can send any number of monsters from hand and/or field to hit that lvl 10 mark. It is more flexible in most situations than other options but it is still technically a 2 for 2 trade but it does advance your gamestate and with shin you could even just draw at the end of the turn if you have extra bodies. I would be curious if they plan on doing more lvl10s as part of the support they are going to print or if maybe they will give it some extradeck monsters, maybe even lean into the pendulum or ritual aspect of Mistva more. The engine is so versatile it could go any direction.

Its crazy fun and really good, you dont use your normal and can work your way into taia - searching moye or even longyan, plus your level 10 wyrm sychrons gain the effect of the continous wyrm spell you reduce a mons attk to 0

I'm playing this with invoked and I'm finding a lot of s success!. One thing that I would recommend is leaning a little heavy into super polymerization. The amount of space that you have free in the extra deck lets you run pretty much all of the invoked fusions that you want to run even the bad ones and always have the ability to super poly a threat away

@CrimsonOmega- not at all, That's where the benefits of using it with existing decks helps massively, you need to see the Ryu as a supporting engine for the other decks, that's where it provides these other decks woth extra gas, omni negate protections, 1 card bait outs etc.

@ What often happens is that you get weird hands where there’s no interaction with Dinos/Wyrms etc… you play the Ritual Pendulum or a way to search and if those options get hand trapped you basically pass turn. Sometimes the pure builds just run better. The Dinomorphia Ryu-Ge deck seems the most resilient to hand traps

@CrimsonOmega- they aren't really pure builds, that's what sets this apart from the other 2 atm, you want to use it as a supporting engine for those types of decks. Your using a Ryu engine to help Dino variants, swordsouls etc. Ryu us a 1 card combo itself to bridge you into those decks or set up the negates, if the 4 remaining cards in your hand are dead consistently then the build needs work

@nidhoog I wouldn't say it's underwhelming when it's paired with other decks, I agree it's to fair and not a standalone deck like the other 2, but for the pure variety, value for money and support it provides lesser decks it's the best imo
