I believe I make a great candidate for this team because I am more handsome, more strong and more intelligent than Trif Gaming COULD... EVER... BE... I'm the ideal position for this team. I'm the glue that'll keep us together. What Deck would I play...? DINOSAURS. Sorry. This is my prize card for winning locals but... DINOSAURS. I am the BEST player. Do you understand? God... Um. What are my short-comings? I have NO short-comings! I just over-extend because I am that much of a Chad Duelist. NOBODY can reach my level. Erm. I have 4 cards in my Deck- Well I wouldn't play any of these cards because they are for babies. But uh I suppose I would activate upstart and then activate duality. BUT in the case-scenario. What if my opponent had Droll & Lock Bird when I activated Upstart on the resolution then I wouldn't've been able to activate duality because its Droll Format with Drytron running around everywhere. GOD... WHAT A HORRIBLE SCENARIO! K, next. If you think YGOTAS is funny, please close the form now. Uh, Ok. How funny would you say you are for content-creation purposes...? Listen. I'm just a BALL of content bro. I... am funny as fuck... K, let's see. What do you consider funny TV Shows & Movies- Uh next question, not answering that. What hobbies do you have outside of The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game? I LOVE LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHTS, over my- OVER MY HEAD! In the attempt that I wouldn't be able to walk through DOORWAYS one day... I just won't even be able to fit through... I'm an Alpha Male. Once in a lifetime. Genetics. Uhhhh... What achievement outside of Yu-Gi-Oh! are you most proud of? I would say I'm proud of being able to shower unlike most of these filthy virgins that have never picked up a bar of soap in their entire life. When did I last shower? Erm... I'm not a Mystic Mine Player but I would say January 14th 2021 at 01:55pm PST was the last time I showered. Um... next! Are you fine being Player B? Yes. I am completely fine being Player B. Even though its shit, I'm fine with it. Um. What is the best way to contact me? I would say discord! Uh... Don Juan, baby! Hashtag 0, 3, 4, 7. You already know how it is. Um... Let's see uh... Legally speaking, NAS didn't have the right to take down ALL images of the cards since some didn't exist in the anime and they only have the rights to the anime, not the physical game. Even so, after taking down the images and the characters, there was nothing relating to the anime left so they shouldn't have been able to do it. Unfortunately, the system is set up so that any company can send you a cease and desist for anything and you can't stop them unless you are willing to go to court. If they wanted to, they could send Bulbapedia a cease and desist.

Dueling Network used to work so smoothly, stuff worked as soon as you clicked on it, and duelling book lags for everything

Ah, yes. Dueling Network. Fun times. Entering a "Fun Deck Only" or "No Exodia / Competitive Deck" room and actually having a fun and enjoyable duel.

Damn...I miss the days of Dueling Network. I would spend hours a day, every day on the site, playing with friends, roleplaying for stories, testing decks for IRL, toying with random ideas. It was the best of times for me. What I wouldn't give to go back to that

I basically lived in DN at high school. I played it for years and still remember how upsetting that legal screen was. I tried Dueling Book since then, but when a website drops frames that poorly I just couldnt stick with it. I wish we could have DN back.

I remember staying up late at night just so I can play dueling network. Got in trouble multiple times by my mother. But I fondly remember chatting with my opponents and just having fun. After losing or winning, some of us would reveal our hands just to see what would happen if we had survived the previous turn.. There were several times either would start of with a sh** hand and it would take at least 2 turns before we got something good. But usually at that point, you're praying the next card you drew can set up a chain of cards that counters opponents. Essentially, heart of the cards.

Most of my friends think that the original Duel Monsters era of Yugioh was the golden years, but I think the Dueling Network era was the true golden years of Yugioh! Being able to test out any deck idea, socialize, and compete, Dueling Network was unmatched.

I miss dueling network so much, back in high school a close friend of mine and I wanted to get into yugioh and my friend bought the noble knights deck while I bought the yusei synchro deck. Eventually we hungered to use better decks. He found dueling network and told me about it, not long after we would spend hours a night talking over the phone and playing against one another with any deck we thought was cool or was good at the time. God damn I took those times for granted, but now I can look back in nostalgia despite the solemn sting of knowing I can’t get those times back.

R.I.P. Dueling Network. Discovered you in my early 20s and had a blast until 2015 when my mom's laptop died and didn't find out what happened since due to how chaotic life has been.

My brother and i would always duel each other but outside of a close circle of friends who would play, DN was our go to. we tested out meta decks and had a ton of fun taking turns on the computer dueling random peeps for hours. This was a great video, a neat time capsule of nostalgia, this hit my feels

I'm from the OCG in a such a rural area with no money that the only way I got into the game was the anime and the discovery of dueling network. I played the format nekroz was the best deck and I fell in love with the game and played 2 whole years just online since I dont have money to get the physical cards and travel to my locals which is why I love Dueling network

yo I didnt realize how sad this would actually get me. I stopped playing ygo about a year before the site got taken down but for the couple years before that I was on that site every chance I got, even if I was trash and never won I had a blast. Duelingbook is great but it just isn't the same for me. Maybe thats bc I don't really play anymore but a part of me feels like I lost my first stuffed animal and I was just given a replacement from the store...not really the same in the end. Great vid

I remember I quit YGO while starting off High School, well not much quitting as in forced retirement. My friends who played the game at the school playground had moved on the game, and from where I'm from there's not many real places to get the cards or meet people who actively played. So I had no choice but to stop completely. I had many internet friends who wanted to learn or relearn the game, but we had no idea what to do with this. Until one of us found DuelingNetwork. We are all now active YGO players, thanks to this website.

DN was literally how I learned English. I used to sit at the kitchen table with my laptop and ask my mom or grandpa to translate what the text box under the card said until they got bored and I had to read and understand the text myself.

I was on the staff at the Dueling Network Forums close to and after the end of the site proper, as a forum mod(I ran the ill-fated roleplay section. It was as bad as it sounds). Seeing those staff lists full of names like Dan, Zeh, Auke1993, Khufu, and quincymccoy brings back memories of skype chats and site discussions. When the images were taken down, the exploit to use them had something to do with archived data being accessed through a seperate link that'd still connect to the live servers, but that wasn't what caused the further pushing. The site implemented a feature just after removing the photos that allowed users to upload their own, and from what i heard/remember, that was a big blow. The forums limped on for almost a full year afterward, though, mostly just becoming a ghost town of a YGO forum. Despite how you felt, and it's not a wholly incorrect feeling, DNF never felt dead, really. I still remember the sidebar that had a small chat/status thing that you could comment into. I quit modship after a while(the section i modded just made their own site, which i believe is still up.), but from friends I had inside the site was burning down. The death knell wasn't userbase decline, it was actually a security breach. They just decided to torch the whole place instead of fix the vulnerability. I'll never forget DN and DNF. The man who's like a brother to me and I solidified a friendship on those sites, and it's where i learned the game proper. Being able to assist with the site's functions was fun too. I've always felt the game kinda died with it.

Well, DN got me from casual yugioh into competitive lvl, i started practicing decks more hours with randoms with almost all decks at the time and before d.rulers release i started making tops at nationals tournaments... Though that lasted 2 years for me, after my decks got hit by the ban list, i stopped the game forever.... I kept the decks to this day :) (2013, rip spellbooks,d rulers, mermails) nice video brother, u brought me back alot of memories!

The unlimited deck creations, the meta spam on ladder, the MST negate debates, the batteryman OTK's the unlocking of cool profile avatars, the toxic and the honorable gg's the mods that came to help us the silly addition of broken qliphorts and the like, divine beasts being summoned and then getting wrecked by broken trap cards the OG gravekeepers and lastly the heart breaking " Dueling Network will be taken offline until further notice" all of these are precious moments and memories, and more than all of us remember
