I think there are some ways you can save dead hands in this list. For example if you replace old Shi En synchro with a third Shogun you can loop them to get just enough counters on Gateway in some situations. Also perhaps swapping one Kizaru for a Legendary Secret would be useful because it can be summoned with Asceticism if you have Monk on the field, whereas Kizaru can’t be summoned with Asceticism. Secret also summons itself when you summon Hatsume or Kizaru.

I just don’t see how it plays through Maliss or ryzeal full board, since that is essentially what you are doing every go second

How does the deck play into going 2nd? I meam.comboing off is great but no.hand traps means if you go 2nd by losing the dice roll or what ever your going to be dealing with Multi Layer interuptions...

Idk if he knows this, but he probably accidentally cheated some opps, if you discard Lurrie for cost it CANNOT chain to the effect that discarded it, it has to activate on a new chain. I use to think the same thing because I also play MtG, but it doesn't work that way in Yugioh.

It was found out later that I was incorrect on that, but it didn't come up during the event and doesn't make much of a difference, since by the time you bring up the link you should have the lv 6 negate ready on board anyways, THEN you go full FS combo after the first chain resolves. 😉

@@LiynPrideLurrie is also mandatory so even if it could be in the same chain it would have to be chain link 1 since shogun is optional

Regardless, still gets Lurrie out onto the field for full Fiendsmith combo. Plus you're usually going to be chainblocking Battle Shogun with one of your Six Samurai tuners anyway

Yes! As long as the link arrows connect from one to the other to create a "circuit".
