The gaining of life points only happens once per turn. So you'll only gain 3000, not 6000. But your opponent does burn for 6000

Would he even get burned? Because Nightmare Pain says, that your opponent recieves all the battle damage you would have recieved but all Yubel Monster say that you don't recieve any battle damage involving these cards.

1: don't place yubel in field 2/4 in case of Relinquish 2: yubel must tribute at end phase or die 3: grinder gives 3k to you once per turn (tidbit: grinder disables infinite imp from hand since they'll own a card) also can chain eternal to ss Spirit which eternal misses timing (like original yubel does) the {can't chain to effect} which allows Spirit to add a card from deck

Essentially super polymerization has the effect of "neither player can activate or respond". Eternal favorite is similar but not with the fusion effect. Effectively, if you open with super poly with samsara, you have a godlike hand that cant be stopped by negates when you use super poly right?

I know this is 2 months old, but would you be able to explain all the timing rules on how the older cards work with the newer cards? I'm still relatively new to yugioh and have never had to deal with things that "miss timing". Like sending terror incarnate to grave with a link summon. To me that should trigger it, but at my locals last week I was corrected but still don't understand.

Terror falls into this weird space of old text. The core thing to look for is "when" text. Whens only trigger when they are directly next to what they require. In this example if terror incarnate is destroyed for example and there is nothing further to resolve in the chain then the next thing to happen will be Terror to summon Nightmare. In the example of link summoning. It misses timing as the last thing to happen isn't Terror leaving the field. It's actually the link summon itself.

Yeah sadly Terror is more annoying as its "leave the field" OG Yubel is more forgiving. Pain will make terror miss as its "leave the field part" but not Yubel. where as Yubel just needs to be destroyed which gets checked on the next chain. So the best example of this for OG Yubel is the following. Pain will be CL to destroy (not as cost) if it was Yubel would miss timing. So you resolve the chain backwords (if there is anything more on top of pain) Destroy and search, then on the next available chain as the last thing to happen in the previous chain as resolution was Yubel being destroyed, it confirms that happened and resolves. Where as with terror - You remove it from the field to make the link summon, the next window becomes "is the summon sucsessful" no solemn warnings, or strikes for example. after that a new chain starts technically being "x card is summoned" not Terror has left the field. so It misses Its a really tricky one to completely understand as its hidden with old text vs modernised mechanics

How do you use the Effekt of Lotus after adding it with the Reis map ? It reads „you can’t use the added monsters Effekt until the end of your next turn“ did I miss something ?

Quick question if you have spirit of yubel and nightmare pain on board and they attack spirit of yubel does the opponent take all the battle damage cause of nightmare pain?

Yeah they will as nightmare pain is Yubel Monster so any monster that has Yubel in its name

Spirit of Yubel Is the only Yubel version that does not reflect battle damage by itself, it goes like this Spirit-just indestructible and take 0 DMG Yubel/terror incarnate-reflect only if opponent attacks you Ultimate nightmare/new fusion- reflect DMG even if you are the one attacking These + nightmare pain, so if your opponent attacks the OG Yubel or terror incarnate they're gonna take 2 times the damage, same goes for Ultimate nightmare and the fusion even if you attack

I suppose you could tbh, as you can get Yubel back from Banish, you might then consider changing the sacred beast engine out tho as that's the main thing that uses the GY

I cant wait to try out my build for yubel. Been testing out combos and learning how to play through droll and other hand traps. I figured out a way to get mature chronicle to search super poly turn 1 while still ending on a decent end board.

I would say it's fairly consistent. It's a 2 card combo but you're playing all the cards needed for it at 3 so it's very likely you'll have it. Access to the Dark beckoning engine with samara D lotus, Nightmare pain or spirit of Yubel. You do need to run unchained Shiyama as the only unchained 'brick'. Let's assume you opened dark beckoning and samsara. Normal beckoning, search use Gates to search, summon samsara, use effect ss spirit, spirit searches/sets nightmare pain, activate nightmare pain and use effect pop spirit to search mature chronicle, Spirit effect to summon Yubel, activate mature chronicle (MC), make Yama, search Shiyama, use Gate discard shiyama SS Yubel (MC 1), shiyama effect pop yubel, Yubel effect to ss Terror (MC 2), terror and yama link into Muckracker, Muck effect to SS Yubel (MC 3) , Shiyama effect to destroy yubel, CL 1 yubel CL 2 yama to summon yubel back don't pop anything (MC 5), MC effect to search super poly, link Terror and Shiyama to make Rage, set Super poly, end phase Samsara effect to summon, yubel effect to send Muck for maintenance and that is your endboard. Rage, Yubel with lotus and a set super poly.

Yes it does hard lose to Nibiru but honestly. This does show that people were wrong about not being able to use mature effect to search super poly on turn 1 pre- legacy of destruction. And this combo doesn't need you to open Nadir servant to work.

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh yes the yubel on cl 1 summons terror from the gy. you will get both counters from MC since both summons happen in different chain links and not at the same time in case that was a concern. Best part is you can truly call this a 2 card combo since every card you search gets discarded. 1 shiyama, 2 the search from Gate or Dark beckoning beast so you still have 3 other cards in your hand.

I got the perfect go second combo for this deck. See the first card is of course Samsara because it tributes to go straight into a yubel. The second one, get this, is Super Polymerizarion. Crazy, I know. Foolproof and unbeatable.

So here is the catch if your samsara gets stopped and you dont open with continues GG (samsara is not a quick effect so you auto lose to imp and veiler) if you opponent is clever he will ask questions GG if you manage to win its more like your opponent cant read cards or you activated shifter I dont think this deck will be that good after more exposure because the rikka effect dont work twice

Thats pretty much the same with most decks. Yes Samssara is a weak spot, thats why most builds are playing other engines like sacred beast, Unchained, Super poly etc. The deck wont be top tier. but it is still very playable and to write it off completely would be foolish. Youd be surrprised about the Rikka effect as people have done it many times before Dinka with Prankids way back before it got meow, Heroes getting top 64 last year. Sometimes its the most unexpected deck that can take wins because people dont expect them.
