Miguel CV advanced Technology. The holograms of the monsters were so good and advanced in the zexal generation, that it made it harder to see the monsters in the naked eye. they then invented the duel gazed to help improve eyesight capacity. It also helped for people who didn't want to see monsters being summoned every single time a duel was going on. Same thing for field spells, if a field spell was activated, that changed the field, it would get confusing for people passing by the duel, to see a completely different area than their regular basis Area in the real world. So they invented the duel gazer in which you could choose to watch the duel or not.

The main thing why I like Zexal so much is the character development: Examples can be found in characters that used to be enemies of Yuma, like Kite, Vetrix and his family, Dr. Faker, and even the Barian Emperors. They all develop almost flawlessly...just in time for the real villain to fuck them all over.

It's so bad it's good 😂 though the cards take way too long to describe/explain. But yes get set to get decked, feel the flow, hi five the sky are all sorts of lame English Yuma lines that surprisingly didn't blacklist VA Eli James. The voice actor for Charlotte in English for trials of mana was terrible too lol favorite Elmer Fudd line was I won't throw away my wife (life) 😂.

I'll be honest... In Japanese, Zexal isn't half bad. Hell, Yuma has grown on me. Although you gotta wonder if "Kattobingu" is a catchphrase or a drug. Why do I say this? Well some translations can come out as, "I Do Kattobingu!" idk, just a random thought. XD

I’m so late so excuse me 😂. But whatever. Better late than never right? Anyways, Kattobingu is just a catchphrase that Yuma got from his father and uses it to get him fired up, etc. But yeah! It’s not a real word. Therefore, has NO proper translation. That’s why in some of the episodes, I noticed the translating team just left it as “Kattobingu”

@@JoshDoesAThing108 same. I was one of those people who actually hated…… nah, that’s a strong word. So I’ll say “never even gave Zexal a chance”, and judged a book by its cover. Cuz I was like, there’s no point in watching it cuz it’s not even canon. Also, it looks kinda eh. And the mc looks dumb and stupid 😂! No point. But then when I DID watch it (thanks GX for making my Yu-Gi-Oh addiction even bigger), Zexal surpassed my expectations. It’s actually so good. And the animation is just beautiful. Oh, did I even mention that when the characters XYZ shoukan, and when they build the Overlay Network, that thing just looks like space. Very 🤩! One of my favorite things about Zexal! Another thing is: the monsters, AND the D-gazers! Wow! Everything is holographic and kinda like 3D almost. There’s a reason why Heartland is futuristic. THAT! And the fact that it can also be used as a phone too. Now how cool 😎 is that? There’s more where that came from, but I guess you already know! So I’ll stop there. But yeah! I Zexal is pretty much my 3rd favorite Yu-Gi-Oh series. 1st is GX and 2nd is OG! And I haven’t watched Arc-V yet so idk. But a lot of people said Zexal is even better than Arc-V. So yeah

@@narutoninjagoandtheflashar4256 I 100% agree with what you said. I play the card game still and Utopia/Hope is one of my favorite archetypes of all time. So much to talk about lol Also, a person of good taste, I see. GX is also my favorite, with OG and 5Ds being a tie but I'll still sing my praises about Zexal. Arc V has a bit of a reverse situation with Zexal. Imo it starts out really strong with good pacing, but around Episode 50 it just steadily gets worse and worse. It has cool concepts, sure, but there's a lot of narrative choices that make me groan. I won't spoil because we'd be here all day, but if you give Arc-V a chance, just a heads up about that and the fact that the "Final Boss" and their duel is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. But that's just me, you might like it alright.

I don't get that either. Well, oversized cleavages and stuff are usually unneccesary, so that's not a problem, but skirts isn't such a problem to me. Everybody in anime looks at least 'average'. Get a number of people outside and you won't find too much that look like them (forget the hair colors for that one). Blue fire is usually associated with hellfire, but it's indeed unneccesary to change all that.

well its 4kids that dubbed it, so its kinda a given (btw, what is it with the yugioh series and overcensorship of any female card or character in their shows? I get the time frame but making characters bodies look unnatural (see gagaga girls card for what I mean) kinda makes it worse then the orignal as a given from an animation point, let alone logic points (I heard some cards used blue fire instead of orange) really its unnecessary)

Did not watch dub. Cuz dubbed Yu-Gi-Oh (all of them) are just terrible. If you guys want to actually enjoy the anime’s, then watch it in subbed (original Japanese). Trust me! It’s literally the best. Especially for Zexal. Yuma doesn’t sound like an annoying high pitched brat. And you’ll fall in love with his Japanese voice before you know it. Cuz that’s exactly what happened to me 😂

Of all Yu-Gi-Oh protagonists that I’ve seen, Yuma has the MOST themes. Instead of 1 like everyone else, he gets special treatment and gets 3+ or sometimes even more. I don’t get the point of that 😂😭🤦🏼‍♀️. Okay sure! It’s interesting 🤔, but no point. Unless they expect him to be different when he’s in Zexal morph. Which I guess I can understand why. But still no point like I said
