Sukuna is 100% not holding back for a while, i strongly belive Uraume statement was only about the Kamino arrow, and Sukuna needed specific conditions to use that, and yeah, Yuta in Gojo´s body is necessary but not because Sukuna can still easily kill everyone, but i see that as a way to counter Sukuna´s domains, if Yuta uses Gojo´s domain everytime Sukuna uses his own, that will make Sukuna stay with a burned CT and force him into only using hand to hand against Yuta, Yuji and Todou, wich is the worst case scenario for Sukuna at the moment

as far as I know black flashes appear only when sorcerer goes all out - Yuji used them when he concentrated on doing his best, Gojo has done the same only when he was crushing Sukuna and now Sukuna used black flashes when he was fighting Maki who was "the first to force a role onto him". In the fight with Gojo not only he wasn't able to lock in on him (he was literally knocked unconscious a couple of times), Gojo also had infinity and I don't think you can do a black flash with domain amplification.

The only rebuttal to this would be that we don’t know the full extent of “shrine”. Sukuna kind of teased this with Jogo when he said he wouldn’t “cheat” by revealing his technique, when initially we thought it was confined to strictly slash attacks. Gege has taken a lot of inspiration from Hxh, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Sukuna has Kurapika like conditions to his other abilities. Where certain requirements have to be met for him to use it, or he has to be in a specific state. Cause as it stands he’s way too calm for him to be out of tricks. He’s up to something.

I think one way for Maki to become stronger is through curse tools. There are a lot of techniques that can be imbued that would greatly boost her like damage inversion, cutie honey which decreases the damage taken to only 10%, etc those would take advantage of her super human body. On top of that while she can’t hit a black flash her curse tool can, so a sentient weapon like soul split katana that houses Mai’s soul should be able to hit one with enough time and deepen the weapon’s potency.

To surpass Gojo requires: 1. Having a more refined domain than him and have a sure-hit that can eliminate him immediately 2. If you can't achieve the first one, you must at least be equal to him in refinement and possess an open barrier 3. Achieving the second one also comes with the fact that you must also be able to expand your domain multiple times and in quick succession too Yuta I can see achieving this with enough time but I'm not sure with Yuji

Not only that, but in regards to pure physical output, he matched Yuta(Without Rika) after Sukuna taking over and engraving on his soul in Shibuya, raising his abilities to actually be around 14 fingers(Each finger is a 150% multiplier to Sukuna, hence why he gains so much output per finger, it is not linear but exponential, hence Yuji is actually a menace), didn't have a technique until timeskip, and then gained blood manipulation, Shrine, and also gained better RCT + Simple domain, with the later setting up for a proper domain, on top of his output being added to by black flashes(Which also increase the ability to evolve and deepen, given the fact that throughout the series it has been stated that besides the first one, each one deepens your understanding of CE and output, and the very nature of the world, so if pushed to the edge like Mahito was or given more time, it's VERY likely he is going to obtain advanced barriers and therefore domains, like when Mahito gained 0.2 sec domain + Final form after the second and near death. Give me a break. Going toe to toe with Sukuna of all people is insane, even if Sukuna was at similar speed levels. Plus, he is going to unlock better abilities from the death wombs given more pressure. Odds are after the 8 black flashes he can use convergence, as Shrine and B. Manipulation changed his CE, so that CE being rebounded from the Black flash would utterly change his comprehension, like with unlocking shrine(Given in mind each one is like an ingredient like Todo was saying, and now he has tasted them according to that line of thought), which even SUKUNA said is a beast of a technique to pick up with difficulty. So, to use it immediately like that and to do ACTUAL damage to Sukuna is insane. In other words, for every black flash Yuji landed, his output for a few raised by 20%, and his ceiling for each went up by 20%, and he now knows more about CE than ever before. Also when Gojo dies Maki grabs his shoulder I thought to simply to console him over his masters death but also for the monstrous steps he would take to avenge him. That is utterly ridiculous and likely not even what Gojo meant when he said Yuta and Yuji could "surpass" him (rather that they'd be better sorcerers for the world). Gojo changed the world when he was born and has one of the most broken techniques in the series. Sukuna has fought his entire life and was never defeated unto this day while killing hundreds of sorcerers. There is simply no way that Yuji will ever be stronger than these characters nor has he ever been hinted as such. This is not Naruto. The series does not bear his name. Yuji has always been about persevering and wearing his opponents down NOT overpowering them. Yuji will beat Sukuna as he is through held ideals and support and not through strength alone.

So I have a silly little theory that's not completely thought out but I figured I'd throw it out there in regards to Sukuna and his Binding Vow usage. The theory is that at some point during his youth, Sukuna must have come across the concept of Binding Vows and decided to experiment on them to see how they function, what they do, what they can't do, etc etc. and thus overtime Sukuna has figured out some sort of exploit into using them hence why he always appears to be using a Binding Vow out of nowhere. And he's likely kidnapped several if not hundreds of people (this is a reach I know) and he forcibly made them use a Binding Vow on Sukuna that will only activate once their lives end in order to benefit him. I know this sounds crazy, but I think it's in character for Sukuna to know of Binding Vows and use it's exploits to his advantage. I also think Gege would do this out of spite to piss off the fan base even more then they already are XD But anyways that's my theory, it's not well crafted so I do apologize if it doesn't sound good or not plausible.

I think it’s going to show that Gojo was strong because he was Gojo. Yuta will be stronger than he is in his normal body but not as strong as Gojo. It would be a great end to an awesome character. Everyone seems him in the end as a weapon and then come to find out, he was more than that. It’ll go all the way to are you the strongest because your Gojo, or are you Gojo because your the strongest. Yuta will be able to right along side others simply because he won’t use limitless to his full potential. He might have Gojos power, but he’s not Gojo.
