the amount of richness the girl with the lower register gives to this song, and actually all the songs shes in is so amazing. the higher vocalists are amazing and their harmonies are wonderful to listen to but with the really low rich tone gives everything a lot more depth god i love pmmm's soundtrack

@TheSeeking2know2 жыл бұрын
She does make the chorus work really well. Without her rich low end the harmonies would sound a little hollow. It's why male vocal ensembles often sound richer in harmonies than female because of the baritone and bass foundation. Keiko provides that (contralto) here. Without her (and I would add Yuriko her opposite on top) the Fiction Junction sound wouldn't be really there. It's why they are unchanging for all live performances.

Mami-san is a flawed yet so endearing character. So many people only make dumb head jokes or pay attention to her because of her "assets", but once you get past the calm and powerful senpai, you see an insecure and lonely girl. Mami always wanted to be loved again after losing her parents; but she directed her feelings towards doing what's right. It may sound ridiculous, but Mami is one of the characters that convinces me that there's right and good on this world; you've just got to do your best and try to make it a better place than you found it. Maybe I'm just talking all of this because I've identified with her for so long. The need to be accepted and loved. Anyway, all I can say... is that I love you, Mami-San! Thanks for teaching us so much!

+Manas nah, it just served as character motivation for madoka and sayaka to become MG's, and to foreshadow the intended fate for all of them. No need to force a nihilism rhetoric that isn't there.
@soulofhate25296 жыл бұрын
Spicie Linguinie well, she either get killed first or loose her mind in each time line, as seen in homura's flashback. Not matter what mami WILL be dead before walpurgis nacht. If it happened in a hundred timeline it might be more than just motivation for sayaka and madoka

Duckie bee Only if you compare it to the typical pop singers which just about every culture has many that simply look pretty and prance around, including Japanese culture. It is however the wrong comparison since I would compare most of Kajiura's work to the classically trained artists. Just take a look at Celtic Women, all singing and no prancing (and, yes, "fully clothed").

Im so glad this was uploaded. I think that Mami from PMMM is a very important character in the sense that she challenges the viewers to question their own complacency to things that hurt us once, and keep hurting others now. This anime and it's soundtrack are art at it's best, and have given me a lot of food for thought. Also, this performance was GREAT

Yg namanya perjuangan pasti disertai pengorbanan.

One of the best songs I've ever heard in any anime ever. It's not a good representation of the show (that goes to Magia by Kalafina), but it is ethereally beautiful and profoundly exciting at the same time.

+The Cute Zerg I think +Curt Clark was referring to the overall impression the series had on the audience. Credens Justitiam does give a good representation of a part of the show, as does Magia, but because the representations are partial, I disagree with both of you regarding which song best represents the series. If you guys want to talk about songs which give a good representation of the series, IMO the best are Connect and Sis puella magica!; the latter of which represents the ominous, liminal state in which (to simplify) all magical girls in the series found themselves between the ruthless, nearly meaningless fatalism of Magia and the blinding joy of Credens Justitiam. At the same time, the OP of PMMM is a song with a chipper tune and lyrics which, in response to Magia, have a more positive outlook on their fates and their choices as magical girls: protectors of the world. You could argue for either one, but I side with Connect since it was the opening and closing song of the series. This is a series whose themes advocate neither the highest of hopes nor the lowest of despairs, as exemplified in Credens Justitiam and Magia, respectively. They're more moderate than that. (Neither Magia nor Credens Justitiam actually play - prominently - in Rebellion Story, or did you refer to Beginning Story and Eternal Story...?)

+Curt Clark this song is Tomoe Mami's. it has good vibe because the song tells about justice and believe, you can feel how proud and fired up it is. i would say this is like anthem.
