It was because of this song that I picked up Valkyrie Profile 2, and the full impact of this song fell on me the more and more I played the game. Few games have made me shed manly tears and let me tell you, this song alone made me want to cry. So when I finished this beautiful song and that beautiful game, the only thing I could think about was how grateful I was to Kate for giving me such a beautiful song and introducing me to such a beautiful story.

Oh, my. This literally brought tears to my eyes. After reading the dedication, all I could think of was my own older brother who passed away a year and a half ago. My mother was named Yuki. When I volunteered as a green beret to go off to a war I was told my mother cried a lot. It was my turn to be sad when she died, but this song and lyrics was a comfort.
