Hi there Shawn, I am seriously considering a purchase of the 470S but need little more info. regarding the base connector. The rifle I wish to add this unit to (an Anschutz .22K-Hornet for which I homeload) only has an inbuilt rail machined into the top of the receiver to which I attach some decent screw tightening mounts for the illuminated scope I have installed at present. Will the mounts that come along with this unit simply screw tighten in the same way onto that inbuilt receiver rail on my rifle please? NOTE: the 'scope rail is NOT an add-on Picatiny type!! If you buy any model that don't have the final S you can record and oudio with an external recorder.
