It’s actually really smart to use the maple sugar bits for a couple reasons. Without the nuts a larger amount of logs will be sold. Most nut allergies are so severe that even if only one person in the household does eat nuts and has them around it could potentially trigger an allergic reaction. Makes a person more likely to buy one for a family gathering because they know it’s allergy safe.

@@TheRafark Allergies presenting high risk are common enough such that at many gatherings, including office parties, school events, and the like, administrators or planning teams will prohibit bringing products with allergens. I have worked at companies and schools where that was the case, and it is more common than you may think.

Alina H no, they mean liquid. Eggs arnt liquid until they are emulsified (which is a change that happens when two items are mixed together and turn into a new item).

If I recall correctly, the Yule log is from Paganism for the holiday Yule (Yuletide/Saturnalia/Winter Solstice) hence "Yule" log.

Everything that was shown looks really good, however, one thing that I would change is that if there has to be jam in the log, I'd prefer cherry instead of strawberry. That's just my opinion.

They went bankrupt a bit ago, I looked up multiple newspapers and they said the same thing, company was around for 60 years, and now 60 employees are now out of a job. Apparently from some papers, they were $6 million in debt. They were based in Quebec, Canada. Kinda sad that it no longer exists, but this show will keep the memory standing.
