Like you, i cannot find another rhythm game with mechanics i like like YumeCast. 😢 Since the game ended, I always say to my friends, "WHAT is the purpose of Sega selling merch for a game they ended?" Knowing full well i will continue to buy YumeCast merch 😂 I got to move to Japan a couple years ago and ABSOLUTELY go to every single YumeCast event I can go to. My support for the game will never end as long as they continue selling merch and holding events or collabs. I actually didnt know FukuMako performed one of Kuroki's songs during a live! 😮 I'm surprised i didnt hear this from one of my friends who is a huge FukuMako fan. I hope they do another YumeCast live with the (re)release of this app, especially hoping for Genesis live! I will have to go no matter what!

Those were THE best rhythm game mechanics! Tricky to master but as soon as you started to get good, it was so pleasing to hit the timing right! 😁 Yeah, Sega's choice of selling merch after selling the IP to a Chinese company was weird as hell. But at least fans continued to have something of the franchise around, which is a positive. Still, a weird call by Sega. Oh!! That's awesome! We need more Yumecast fans like you! For sure if was in Japan, I'd be going to those too. Anything to support this project which, to this day, has been one of the most interesting I've gotten into! He did!! He performed "Hikari Hikaru Hikari" and talked quite extensively about the song and Yumeiro Cast, all with a massive smile on his face! 😁 You could tell he loves the project and he was rocking the stage with that song! One can dream! I'd love it if they did a live event and we'd finally get Genesis performing live! Can't wait for September! I hope we can purchase the game outside of Japan without much problem... And wow, Yumecast anniversary is really the same day as Makoto Furukawa's birthday. Coincidence? 🧐

I'm hoping Sega makes the game available for international fans (even if without Eng subs, even if having those would be a treat and open the doors to so many more people). And yes, the game's launch matching Makoto Furukawa's birthday is quite the coincidence! Funny thing, a couple of days ago on his radio show, Furukawa was talking quite excitedly about the game - following a fan mail of a mother and child also excited about Yumecast's return - and he said he doesn't know what he can or cannot say at the moment about it (besides the fact that he's excited as well) 😂 It seems to me we may have more content than we expect, I guess 👀

oK. This is amazing, considering the time when you talked about GENESIS, I sympathize with the cursed context that Yumero Cast had behind, and I felt the same shame of lost an interesting project along with a big cast, that yes, until this point their name gain more reputation. I'm exciting about this game, and I want to play it, it certainly parts it's a pity that is a curtain call game, but listening about the benefits about portable games, in the end, you can have as long as you want, and enjoy all the stories and event, plus I think the same about how the company is rewarding fan with new song and art visuals, so in the end can be considered a win-win. It seems that Furukawa knows a lot and was exciting waiting for the announcement haha 👀 I have some questions, what it Furukawa's radio show and alongside Yumeiro Cast you mentioned others games, but I don't them, if you o someone can tell me (I know idolish7 and a3). As Saito Soma fan, I'm here for him 😤 not forgetting Toshiyuki Tonoyaga and Hanae Natsuki, in the end I love all haha

If the game ends up being available for international fans, it's going to be massive! But the fact that the game will be released after these weird past couple of years is already a win! 😁 The music by all groups is well worth checking out - awesome vocals on both sides - and there are even drama CDs with theatre plays by Yumeiro company (2, if I'm not mistaken). Furukawa's radio show is titled 古川慎と6,700人の語り部の館 and episodes are now being officially uploaded on KZbin (following what is happening with Nico Nico douga). It had one of the most intricate yet fun game mechanics - for fans of rhythm games - and a bonkers story well worth reading! I've got a full-on feature on Band Yarouze here on the channel. I'd suggest checking it out to understand a bit more about the project and its awesome cast!

Ohhh! If you haven't checked it out, look for Genesis "Tears for Fears", "Phantom Rain" and Takuma Haiba (Saito's character) solo song 孤独の城に降る雨よ. Haiba's solo has two awesome things in there: Saito as a faux baritone and R&B (music genre that saito seldom gets to perform in 2D music projects).
