@@izuku_dripdoria1923 ink armour basically allows you to take a bit of damage but it is only good with proper team coordination because of how little damage you can take before it goes away. Which means never. Bubbler is complete invincibility for a short period of time. I think. I never got a chance to play Splatoon 1.

This blog has so many good bits in it it’s hard to talk about what I like the most, like how can I NOT mention the bond that Agent 3 and 4 have? You know you have a great bond when you and your best friend can sing the entirety of live and learn together. And when Dedf1sh talks about the 6 things they like about 8, and how grateful they are to have met her it’s so wholesome and cute and AHHH MY HEART-that when you dub it on top of it it truly shows how great everything is. In lore, Agent 8 actually treats Octavio with a sort of respect. While they don't forgive him for the brainwashing, they understand that he tried to do the best for his people and tried to save the domes the Octarians we're living in. It just so happens that he screwed over the Inklings in the process, leading to a failed defensive war waged against a single Inkling decimating hundreds of trained Octarian soldiers (not Octolings, those are another story) I'm pretty sure that some of the Octarians that Agent 4 killed, for all we know, were Agent 8's friends, so her disdain towards agent 4 is understandable. Sorry, I kinda went on a tangent.

Though the lore is a little bit vague and still not fully confirmed for the more humanoid octolings, as Nintendo doesn’t want to talk too much about reproduction in children’s games, it is confirmed that chopped off octoling tentacles will slowly grow into new octolings. It’s not confirmed how this works or if anything must be done to trigger the tentacle to become an octoling, such as cutting it off in a specific way or cutting off a specific kind of tentacle, but it is how it works
