I recommend you file for CHILD SUPPORT. The courts will order him to help you pay for you son's needs. You can also apply for government help, I'm not sure what the benefits are called in other countries, but they're known as Wick checks, EBT cards, etc. It'll help with buying food for both you and the baby and certain stores accept EBT cards whether you're buying groceries/cold food or hot food. I do hope your situation gets better and you get the help you need, especially when it comes to making sure your ex husband is doing his part. It takes two to create the baby, you both wanted the baby, so it's only fair that he takes responsibilty for the human being he helped bring into the world.
