"Yumm Pizza". American Pizza in St. Petersburg, Russia.

"Yumm Pizza" is the chain of pizzerias in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which is making a hot American pizza with natural ingredients and real Mozzarella.
I have visited one of their 13 locations at Vosstaniya street, which was opened just a week ago.
By their words, their firm pizza is "Yumm Deluxe" and exclusive "Big Boss" pizza with 12 different ingredients (where 6 of them are meat ingredients).
Thin and thick dough is available. But they consider thick dough as their firm dough. The company declares the dough is not consisted of milk, eggs and animal fats.

There is a compound you can use. Test it by running your finger nail over the scratch. If it is fixable at all you will barely notice your nail catching the scratch. That or no catching means you can buff it out with cerium oxide. You can find it on the internet it kits. If you are timid to try it, check a local camera shop. They may be able to repair it or send it to B&H. I'm sure they can.

I've eaten pizza all over Italy and I have not been impressed. American made Pizza is much better as there is more abundance and amount of each ingredient in the Pizza. I have tasted Pizza in Ukraine and Lithuania and I was also very pleased by the fresh ingredients!

Just had a dominoes pizza here in the USA. One of the worst pizzas Ive ever eaten. If your near a little Ceasars pizza, they only cost $5.00 and are very tasty! You are in a nice restraunt. Enjoy your meal.

Wow. That looks like a great restaurant. That pizza looked amazing! And very North American in style. What I can't get over is the price. Nothing like a good pizza , so satisfying! I like thin crust myself, but a thick crust done right is good too. My friend Marta in Ivanho told me that Russians love pizza partly because it is flexible as vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike can have pizza made for them. She is vegetarian and her and her husband always get half and half pizza. Sergey, you are right, a place that just does pizza will usually have the best. Vika, your English is getting very good!

Love the knock off Starbucks 'lion" logo. Sergei, I'm sure you had pizza when you were in New York(thin and oily) or Chicago "Deep dish" "pie". In my opinion, I don't eat fast food pizza chains like Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc, Domino's here in the United States.When are you planning another trip to the USA,CWA, the "Say-sha"? St. Petersburg has changed a lot since I was there in late Soviet times. There were few restaurants and didn't want to eat at McDonald's or Pizza Hut. I remember a lot of cabbage and sausage that really wasn't very appealing. Would love to come back to Moscow and Pitr again. I think St. Petersburg was truly beautiful. I felt a more Russian romantic, intellectual feel, your soul more than Moscow. However, I like Moscow too. I would also like to see Vladivostok, Omsk, Nizhny and maybe Novossibirsk but tours I find really only go to Moscow and St. Petersburg. I would like to see the Volga region like Samara or Kazan too.

I have had pizza in Russia many times. Unfortunately, none of the pizza I had in Russia was very good. The worst pizza was at Gostiny Dvor, on Nevsky Prospekt in Saint Petersburg. That pizza, the sauce tasted like ketchup. It was only a fast food counter, and was many years ago. Other pizza I have tried, was a chain in Yekaterinburg called "Pizza Mia". It was only mediocre as well, but the restaurant was full of local people. Next time I am in Saint Petersburg, I will look for "Yumm Pizza". Even in the United States, the best pizza comes from independent Italian and pizza restaurants. Chain restaurant pizza is barely edible in the USA. I have also seen Pizza Hut and Sbarro's pizza in Russia, but I did not try them. Thank you for introducing us to Yumm Pizza.

In Chicago we have great pizza, there's deep dish, stuffed (even deeper), thick crust, thin crust, and even thinner crust (Italian style). I have to have mushroom, black olives & sausage on my pizza, but also like garlic and sun dried tomatoes too. One very popular place to get pizza is called Lou Malnati's. A lot of us drink wine with our pizza, also beer of course, or a soft drink. Your pizza was too much ingredients for me but to each his own. You two seemed to be enjoying it! hehe. Looks like a good place for pizza!

.........Victoria likes meat...that pizza was the right one. Strawberry lemonade would be my choice too...I like "berry" drinks they are the best. I notice they are available everywhere in Russia. Not as common in my country. Canada is a lot like Russia as far as the weather....but much less history. I predict that clips like these will make you into local celebrities....no restaurant opening will be complete without a visit from Sergey Baklykov & Victoria.
