A few years ago, I walked into Hobby Lobby and their annual yarn clearance had just started:) Bought 51 skeins (average price $1.24). Still working thru them. Donated blankets to Project Linus and made scarves for Operation Gratitude. I felt guilty buying so much, but saw people on line who purchased twice the amount. Lol! Felt like a millionaire:)

I got an $850 ON CLEARANCE emerald and diamond ring for $85. I told them about it, they checked, said "oops, our mistake, but we absolutely will sell it to you at that price." So I did. The $850 was a clearance price. I think it was half off, so a $1700 ring for $85.

I’m glad you work in a hospital. I’m an RN and worked in a hospital for 20 years. I’m retired now and now I knit and crochet! I must say the yarns at the big box stores have really improved. I usually go to my LYS first. I do like to give them my business first. But now I’m crocheting with the red heart granny square all in one yarn. Wow works great for granny squares. No need to weave in any ends. Congratulations on your deal!!

Here in Iowa a 12 pack of pop has a .60 cent can deposit, and the pop is usually around 2.99 +deposit. I had a grocery store that made an error and it rang up 48 cents plus deposit!

Hi Kimberly, I am a new subscriber and I really enjoyed your video today, I am a knitter and crocheter. I love to make all kinds of different things. Right now I am really into doll and toy making. I do a lot of smaller amigurumi projects as well as bigger toys. I just finished an aviator bear, with goggles and leather like jacket. It has been a lot of fun. Last year I also did my first pair of Selbu mittens and made several Norwegian style hats. I go kind of wherever the muse takes me. Oh man I wish I had seen your video before my Michael’s trip tonight. I never scanned a skinny cake because I didn’t totally love any of the colors I saw but I had a cinnamon swirl and then went with a coconut cake. But I so should’ve scanned a skinny cake just in case. 😂 I’ve definitely scored a few hidden deals there before. Scored a bunch of happy planners for like $1-3 last year.

I am currently knitting a raglan sweater with the Ombre Hues yarn. It’s a light & soft yarn… I find that it tends to split so be careful when knitting or crocheting but it’s working up so beautifully. 🧶🧶

The grocery store meant to order a case a Hershey cocoa powder, they actually ordered a pallet. To get rid of it they sold it for a nickel a container. I didn't have to buy baking cocoa for 5 years. It freezes just fine. I bought 3$ worth. (60 baking cocoa powder boxes.)

Hey Kimberly. We have a surprise Grandson. He is BEAUTIFUL and what a Blessing he is. Lots to explain and it's not very interesting to most ppl. Where do you sell your stuff? Question is brewers yeast the best stuff to help build up milk? My Daughter is having a very difficult time of it, so after breast feeding for 15 minutes on each side she has to bottle feed. She does have a pump, that just.kills her. between both, the baby boy is growing FAST!! My poor daughter sure feels like she feels like such a failure. My youngest grandchild will be 15 yrs old at the end of this month. 3 miscarriages, between. He IS our blessing. Even our daughter says so. But post pardon blues has her BIG time. Any suggestions??

Hi Sherrie! First of all, oh my goodness, congratulations!! How wonderful!! I don't currently sell my things, I just make for gifts, charity or myself. :) With regards, to your daughter, I'm sorry...it can really be difficult...deep breaths. There are lots of things she can do to increase her supply. I would recommend she find a licensed lactation consultant in her area. Ask at the hospital where she delivered, perhaps they have resources. She can also speak to her OBGYN or pediatrician for referrals. Brewers Yeast has been known to improve supply but there are lots of products out there. I would suggest she speak to a LC or one of her doctors and get their recommendations. polyester and acrylic are both synthetic fibers but they have different properties and textures and wash and wear differently. polyester is generally softer than acrylic but acrylic has come a long long way over the last few years.

And hey no judgment on the deal you scored and no need to apologize or justify it! I mentioned my happy planner steal (and I only took the three I could and would use) and I’ve had several other similar deals. Pays to check the scanners in store or use store apps because I found some $1.50 mandala cakes at Walmart and at Midwestern grocery chain Meijer I also scored some like .49 cent mandala and then there were a few coboos that weren’t coming up in the system at all. I had to laugh when the store employee seeing it was a smaller skein (not realizing coboo is a much more expensive yarn) just decided to give me those for 39 cents apiece. All these wins I found while literally homeless and in a really rough place in my life. Crocheting helped me survive and I would wander yarn aisles and craft stores all the time for something to do so I had a knack for really spending a lot of time and looking out for clearance yarns. It was the only way I could afford yarn. So it was kind of a lifesaver for me at the time but as long as whoever buys it uses it I mean go ahead, no judgment.

They don’t care when they cheat you I have been in there when it was supposed buy 1 get 1 half off but all rang up full price and they accused me of trying to cheat them I had to demand they go let me show them the sign before they would adjust the price so if its their mistake I say so be it I would have bought every one that they had in the store.
