Not nonstick, stainless steel. If you preheat the pan and prime it with butter before cooking in oil then most foods won't stick.

Raw egg yolk is common in Asian cuisine. Even sukiyaki is dipped in raw egg. The “uncommon” practice of using raw egg or consuming raw egg is western culture based due to the fear of salmonella. Yukhoe, a Korean version of beef tartare, is often served with raw egg yolk. There’s plenty of noodle dishes in Japan and China that top off with an egg yolk. In Malaysia, a common breakfast is Kaya toast dipped in runny soft boiled eggs. Eating eggs raw or raw egg yolks just isn’t the norm in western culture, but it’s pretty much common everywhere else around the world. I’ve traveled all over Asian and a raw egg yolk ion top of food is the Asian version of grated Parmesan in Europe.
