Basically it looked like he was a part of Gigi getting robbed by giving whoever robbed her information he got from Timothy, which both Gigi and Timothy felt was a betrayal as he was friends with them both. It did look really bad from both of their point of views and with the information they had available. But in reality he was not as involved as what it looked like, misunderstandings happened. From his point of view and with the information he had, it actually seemed a bit weird how suspicious and upset they got with him. It's interesting how different a situation can be depending on what information is available to each individual and what things looks like from different point of views.
