42:50 One of the reasons I love this game. If you remember in BoTW, it was Link that jumped into Death Mountain Crater to reach Vah Rudania while Yunabo hesitated. This time, Yunobo jumped first.

Yeah, there are actually a lot of parallels to the Sages from BOTW and TOTK. To name a few of them... Sidon is optimistic about his sister while trying to have Muzu see light but laments on Mipha's passing and failure until another Zora snapped him out of it. Yunobo is unable to break out of a cave in and is hesitant in his abilities, only to break out of another cave effortlessly and take charge fighting. Riju asks for your help in protecting her from lightning by getting the Thunder Helm back but you help her protect others using her lightning attack for offensive means.

We did that in TWW? ... Oh yeah, Ganon's pet bird that was kidnapping the girls for him, right? Kinda forgot about that. As a reference it'd go back farther than that though. Remember that boss in LttP's first (I think?) Dark World dungeon? Masked face impenetrable to most attacks, and you had to hit it with the hammer to break the mask before you could actually hurt it.

I did the same thing with the fire temple that DeeBee did first with ascending Death Mountain-bypassed all the paths and realized there was a much more fun way to do it that I’d missed out on. That’s the downside to a 100% “open” game, in my opinion. I wish the dungeons would find a happy medium between the traditional “do it exactly this way” dungeons and the “anything goes” method. Older dungeons had more character, IMO. What if they selectively chose surfaces to be made of the same unclimbable (or even un-ascendable) material as in shrines?

Have you found gaming feels not quite as exciting as being a new dad 😃 wait until the get older, if myles gets into games, playing as a family is so much fun. That how i started, playing oot with my boys, and mario cart, then super smash bros then they got older and wanted to play 007 and other games with their friends, so the Nintendo and the N.64 became company 🙈🦉 then i got grandkids, the first 2 games we played together were Ni No Kuni and Journey, and feeding frenzy 😁😃 aaah memories, i still can't match my mum though, who has now played ghost of tsushima....😁😁 36x.🤗🤗🤗🎉.

What particularly do you find catering to kids? I know since the start of BOTW he definitely swears less and they censor it (though not on streams) but I think that's just a fairly smart move after getting a bigger audience that could include a variety of people. Plus if you go right back to the start of BOTW it felt almost excessive imho 🤣 but if it's just the editing style and stuff i think its just developing I think it's hilarious and I'm definitely an adult 🤣🤣
