Yunus emre have amazing and interesting history. I read 4 book about him. he have good poetry. But he write his poetry with old turkic. Translate is not good. Btw ı live in eskişehir turkey. İts yunus emre’s city 🙂

yunus emre is a great Turkish poet.he usually wrote poems about islam.He was a poet who used Turkish very well.When I read his poems as a Turk, I am surprised how he thought of words so well.I think people like him come to the world less.they're unique.Maybe his poems don't sound that nice when you translate it to english. For example, a few nice words he wrote: If you can't enter a garden, don't stop and watch. If you can't make a heart, don't ruin it(english) Bir bahçeye giremezsen, durup seyran eyIeme. Bir gönüI yapamazsan, yıkıp viran eyIeme(turkish) This is the English translation.But there's a meaning here and it's hard to translate. the meaning can be said as: It is the heart that he describes as the garden. So it means that if you can't get into a heart, don't break it. When you say you cannot make a heart, it is meant as If you can't get someone's heart, don't be offended by saying I can't get it anyway. he was a master.

I feel very sorry for those who do not speak Turkish and cannot understand these profound words. the translations are very simple. whereas the words are so good. Turkish language is a difficult language to learn with deep meanings. I am glad I was born turk.

Watched the whole drama during Ramadan this year. Beautiful title music. Beautiful acting. Some actors from this drama are in Resurrection Entragul and some scene sets and places are used in both dramas. Beautiful ending.

Yes he is. There is 2 diffirent type of islamic knowladge (ilim) first is the sheria knowladge which tought in medrese schools. Secind is the sufi knowlodge which tought in tekke/dergah schools. Than what is the diffirence? Diffirence is in their perspective. Sheria is political and state-craft perspective of İslam. And sufism is personal, private and sipirtual upgrade of islam. They are not oppose to each other in sunni islam. They embrace each other as diffirent perspectives. And yunus emre started as a sheria scholar and a judge, but ended as a sufi. this show is about his journey of life. But wehhabisim/selefism denies sufi knowlodge and considers it as heretical. This is why in selefist saudi arabia it is illegal to spread sufi knowladge. And also selefist isis destroyed a lot of sufi lanmarks in syria.

External knowledge of Islam, Shariah, is for every believer to learn and practise and on top of that, for those who wanted to know Allah follow the footsteps of our beloved Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, which is called sunnah and take this path of heart to heart learning; learning through experience, which cannot be learned by studying, but practising as the master -sheikh-(the representator of our Prophet, saw) shows.
