Acvtivision bans are ALWAYS Vague when given. however, the punishments are pretty easy to figure out what or why the ban came. if you were using cheating software (aim bot or walls) your ban will be perma first offense... if you were using macro software or stuff like Cronus or DSx or DS4 the bans are MUCH less frequent but almost ALWAYS 30 days. The streamers who were temp banned are the Same high kill volume Straight shooters who are likely not hacking but 100% are using things like Ds4 or Cronus. who's surprised this is now being flagged and acted on within beta where the player count is a FRACTION compared to 10 million users in a single day

I got banned for no reason at all (for 250 hours). There are thousands of people who have experienced this right now, even tournament players got banned, but of course they were "famous" so their bans were lifted within minutes. What about other players? That email you received was automatic and I got the same one. I don't use cheats, I don't use text chat, I don't use voice chat... I've played every game in the series since CoD1, after many years I decided to play a CoD game on PC again for the first time and this is the result. The beta test, which was already a disaster, became even more disgraceful because of these false bans. They even announced that Ricochet was broken a few days ago, but they didn't even apologize, and they still haven't been able to fix the problem. CoD is over now, I've accepted that and decided to throw this terrible series out of my life. It seems everyone who is getting temp banned is using DS4 windows to use back paddles or mimic certain controllers. Apparently ricochet has been updated to detect ds4 windows as third party software.. in ds4 windows you can create macros for Anti recoil benefits and other macros such as extra aim Assist using 1 button to do multiple buttons at the same time.. so if you are using ds4 window you might want to close that program while playing bo6

Back paddles are great, my steam deck is like a steam controller 2 for my main PC, the track pads and back paddles are very useful and comfortable to use. We need more steam input compliant controllers with similar inputs like the Hori controller that is releasing in Japan

I haven't yet, but friends of mine(I've even verified their computers, they can barely set up an emulator, let alone a mod menu) and they have been banned before. Did you forget that Ricochet actually isn't a good anti cheat. They literally couldn't care less about it. They implemented an AI because they are a bit too lazy to bother with it. They just want your money. Get this......console players also cheat. Not the aim assist that you scrubs use because yall suck at games, but actual walling and aim locking cheats. Just say you hate PC players next time, and turn off cross platform so you're lobbies can que for 20 minutes before you can even play the game. Cross platforming is the glue holding this series together anymore. Maybe not the newest one.....but give it literally 1 year when everyone jumps ship and buys the next one like good little piggies.😂

I have been falsely banned on mw3 for some reason and I believe that ban carries over onto future titles including ones from Treyarch because fucking Cod HQ forces me into MW3 despite me deleting every last piece of MW3 content and only installing the BO6 beta, it still throws me into MW3 and says I’m permanently banned from the MW3 servers. That is what’s going on bro. People are using software to trick the pc into thinking there’s a controller connected but it’s mouse and keyboard. So they get all the advantages of mouse and keyboard and aim assist. Those softwares should not be allowed. All these KZbinrs using Cronus deserve to be banned too

@@asrr62 I find the opposite to be true. I've been a KBM player since back to the original Delta Force games.... Just can't get a feel for using a controller in FPS games, so it's sits there on the desk until I fire up a racing game. Aim assist should be removed from all input devices, period.

Hey bud @fooly , this is normal for good players moving from console to PC. New PCs are flagged by their anticheat and are more easily banned by reports only. It’s called being shadowbanned, it lasts for anywhere from 7 to 21 days. There is no way to expedite the process. You can submit a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for a non-automated response but it won’t help much.
