On a mechanical level, I can’t get over how insane it was that all it took for her to imply that Loli-Ui was looking at the viewer instead of Ao was to change around the position of the shine on her irises. I wish I had the kind of artistic know-how it took to pull off something like that.

To be honest, the highlight doesn't really change the orientation. At least for me it didn't seem to matter since the iris is inclined toward the audience. What makes the difference is the presence of Ao(drawing) that completely change the interpretation of the whole composition.

I was surprised at how Marine drew it without any "skeletal" underdrawing whatsoever. It's as though she knew what she wanted the drawing to look like in her head, and reproduced that image exactly. And, unlike the others (even Ui-san) her drawings show the character in interesting situations, displaying emotions in them. She's really an amazing artist and I think she displays a lot of humility when she says she's "too slow" or "not good enough" to make money drawing. She's VERY good.

Marine believes she's not illustrator level although she's crazy good, Ui is illustrator level. Illustrator basically is someone who makes art for posters, covers like for game or anime or a concert basically the God tier of a digital artist

I think JP Niji clippers are harder to find at least ones that are dedicated to specific channels. Outside of the drama, Niji outputs so many talents that dedicated clippers are going to be hard to find especially with newer talents. Even in Holo some of the members don’t get clipped often or have dedicated clippers and they are a fraction of Niji’s roster. You not only need to be a fan of Niji JP, but you need to like Lunlun and know Japanese as well as English to properly translate. Maybe with Lunlun being in more collabs it will attract a clipper or fan to start clipping. Exposure is the first step into getting new clippers.

@@anthonynguyen1289 And you need to care enough about sharing their content to the EN audience, or for there to be an EN audience for the clips in the first place. Niji JP fans (and NijiJP itself tbh) tend to only care about JP and keep to themselves in the Japanese sphere so I doubt they would be the ones trying to translate for EN. Plus there was that drama with Niji hating its clippers for some reason a while back, which I'm sure didn't help encourage people to clip. And Niji EN audience is kind of a different beast to the JP audience, so there's no telling if EN fans even care about Niji JP members like Mito or Kuzuha or Lunlun, by contrast the Niji JP side of fans are much more normal these days than before. Seems like it would be a rarity to get clippers for them tbh.
