I love the conceptual idea of Psychadelic and Space Rock, but the vast majority of Psych and Space Rock bands totally suck balls. You guys, Yuri Gagarin, you're one of the very few acts who really genuinely deliver the proper goods. Please, please, please keep playing. This world needs you, and desperately so.

it would be my favorite genre hands down if the vast majority of bands weren't so god awful you've got pink floyd, hawkwind, and... uhh................ the fact that "space rock" completely changed meaning in the 90s doesn't help either. spacemen 3 are not space rock

I use this music all the time for combat in my Tabletop group. Thanks for making such badass music. It adds so much to the tone of my Games. (For those who are curious. I run a Cypher System game based in the setting of Destiny, a first person looter-shooter made by Bungie. The lore and setting are fascinating and epic in scope, but the game really undersells those things. So I run my game to capitalize on said aspects. It's really cool.)

Space rock takes all the best things of my favorite genres of music and smashes them together in an infusion of sonic brilliance. I'm a fan of everything from blues, to Hendrix, to Sabbath, to Clutch, to stoner doom (bands like Om)... this is an amalgam of the best qualities of all of those, imo.

I must say this is the kind of stoner I was always attracted to the most. And yet it is somehow hard to find. Love the production levels you bring. It's just crisp enough to make you feel it's modern production but still has the core stoner feeling. Next thing is the wall of sound that's coming at you, especially in "At the center of all infinity". This song wow.. I mean... It sucks you in like the vacuum in space. Pure void. There is only one band I know that is similar to Yuri Gagarin and that is Monkey3. If anyone else know bands that make similar music please let me know.
+Luka K. I checked Ozirc Tentacles but they are more "shpongle-like" for me. I also sense the lack the beef that I can hear while listening to Yuri Gagarin. They are just not heavy enough for me. Thanks for the long list of suggestions. While most of 'em I either didn't like or knew already I stumbled upon Spiritual Beggars - Ad Astra album which I really like at first sight so thanks for that! :)
