Probably Dartz. You can briefly see him talk about sacrifice for his god while duelist disappear during the first episode, and the opening heavily hint at Reiji figuring it out and forming the lancer to defeat him.

Funniest part; Playmaker and Yusei both saying "Sore wa dou kana", first by Playmaker when Yusei declares that his counterattack has begun, then by Yusei in response.

The playmaker we saw at the start was just a disguise. An illusion. Which trueman has shown the ability for in canon
