See, thing is, with the Air Force, what most people don't truly realise, is how dangerous their jobs can be. Most pilots don't have medics that can help, and most will go down with their aircraft, and either be tortured, or killed. Either way, being a fighter pilot or transport pilot can be very fatal. And of course, taking down air support is vital in a war, so they will be targeted more so than regular troops. Just like snipers get targeted.

These videos are hilarious and true! I experienced the Air Force difference first hand when I was in the Army. I was at Fort Sam Houston when they were changing to incorporate Airmen as well and all amenities had to be brought up to their standards. Surprisingly swiftly, the barracks went from crappy dorm feel to Five Star Hotel. It's weird. It's like the airmen are a higher class of people, not capable of living down to our dirty Army standards.
