Did the high powered water cannons get removed? They were located amidships. You will see the port side one shooting at the Delta on New Years Day 2011 during Operation No Compromise (Whale Wars Season 4, Episode 2 titled “No Escape”).

They still hunt whales. Currently not in Antarctica but off the coast of Japan in the North Pacific. The whaling fleet still sends ships down south, but they claim to be non-lethal missions.
