@@supa4ys843 Almost everyone in the series are adults? Saitama is 25, King is 29, Bang and Bomb are in their 60's, Fubuki is 23, Tatsumaki is 28, Genos is 19 and Garou is 18. The only ones that are underaged are Tareo, Waganma, Zenko, Child Emperor and Metal Bat. Is it actually that bad to like fictional characters that are the age of 18 to be called a pedophile now or are you just exaggerating and throwing that word around to sound funny and ignoring the stigma that comes with it?

Maybe a year later, but I couldn't agree more. When you start drawing, you begin to appreciate the depth of work this man puts in his work. It's not just his art, his environments, poses, dynamism, all that shit is so fucking sleek that I am green with envy at his skill. I've only just gotten to getting poses and dynamism, but his skill with everything else is just so masterclass.

It is sort of relieving watching even a pro erasing so many times... Yusuke is so meticulously careful with his panels! It's worth noting that he definitely has the basics and anatomy studies down, hence why his lines of reference are often abstract or simple; let's not try and sketch from nothing without knowing the fundamentals, guys! Yeah exactly. I honestly thought it was a lack of skill on my behalf and though I'm definitely not a pro yet, at least I know that even those who have practiced so much will have to go back on their work and erase mistakes. No human or machine is 100% error free and this shows that

Yes I’ve studied anatomy for like 10 years now and I still erase. I actually started erasing even more the more I knew of anatomy, because good anatomy will just take that extra bit of time to readjust a drawing the better you know anatomy the better your drawings anatomy gets which means there are more moments where you need to erase to adjust to improve.

A lot of manga artists really heavily on the crutches the stylized look gives them, but murata is one of the few people who - even though faces in particular are still flat and stylized - knows his anatomy, posing shading (given the limited shades of the medium) cloth folding etc. His characters actually look way more 3d than most work in manga and he's still consistent with his work. His cover illustrations show that pretty well actually. I would love to know what he would create without having to limit himself to the conventions of the manga style.
