Beerus - Sama nah man, Goku vs Frieza is a 5 hour fuck fest. This fight gets down to business and saves any dialog for meaningful momentum changes in the fight. It doesnt even over stay its welcome. The fight lasts a little over an hour and is just too good to deny. No fight in dragonball will top this. Sorry, DB has had some great fights. But this fight is the king of the hill in terms of anime fights

Toguro's the perfect Antagonist because he's the agent of change in Yurameshi's journey. He literally bargains the lives of the audience for him to attack him, to meet him at the level he is at in order to challenge him. He pushes Yusuke for his own sake but, as a viewer, for our sake and he does it inside his own character's ambitions so that way it doesn't look cheap. He scolds him for holding back but, he's the reason Yusuke is even at this level. His very presence initiates the change Yusuke needs to keep on pressing through.

I think this entire arc is my favorite, I mean after this it seems like Yusuke got a nerfed after this fight. He should have been able to wipe out everyone else until the last arc and that seemed like they were trying to recapture THIS. Avatarconner there weren't any real fights until sensui and he was his predecessor i think they made that arc a transition for the 3 kings saga which I feel they did nicely as he was now at the max level comparable to the kings since his fight in the last arc was a draw vs 1/3 strongest demons there are well minus raizen 1/2 and yuske is implied to have stayed just to get stronger so hes potentially the strongest demon at the end

It woulda been fucking hilarious if while toguro was talking shit about how powerful he is and how nobody equals him in strength or power and how bored he is in how it's been so long since he's had a challenge and all he wants to do is fight somebody stronger so he can die then all the sudden boom shinobu pops up and one shots toguro with a little flick to the head but the real plot hole in that arc is Yoko awakened through the box Yoko was A class mid to high A class at that so in reality Yoko kurama could've soloed the entire team togoro. That's including the togoro brothers and do it with relative ease but togoro at 100% are in the same class it's just that Yoko was on the higher end of the class but could still annihilate the entire team by himself

julian floyd I don't think tagoro went into the demon realm. Plus yoko could have soloed the team if he wasn't restricted by time. For example: The item would give a 1 hour of yoko. Next time he uses the item it's 30 mins. Then 15. Something like that. But once it wears off he's done. human he doesn't stand a chance.

1:06:27 Toguro's deflated corpse bears similarities to his 110% form. It's as if bulking up to that extent would have permanently scarred him even if he'd won the fight. Not like he had to worry about it, but I wonder what powering down from his full power form would have looked like. Since he had to extensively deflate his muscles to power up to 100%, I wonder if it was even possible for him to power back down to his "normal" form at 110%?

I wasn't especially serious (at least not about Togashi. I fully stand by the Kohan thing :P ) All I'm really saying is Bui's Battle Aura feels like a similar mechanic to Nen. Like if I were to offer my totally uninformed conjecture, I'd say at some point Togashi started wanting to write a more rule-based system for everyone's powers. Hence the next arc being largely about the Territory mechanic. When he set out to build one unifying mechanic for HxH, Battle Aura was part of the hodgepodge of ideas that developed into Nen.
