Yuta has always been a Rockstar, he never shyed aways from saying it, he is big fan of hyde (a Japanese huge rockstar) and even became good friends.. finally a proper J-rock song (since he is singing is Japanese)... glad he is true to himself I can imagine him fighting to make this happen, since it ain't SM style and rock/metal is not very popular in Korea, Btw kpop doesn't just mean the bg and gg pop songs... it just means popular music from Korea...

Yuta has always talked about how much he loves rock and how much he wants to pursue that genre! Some of his idols/favorite artists are jrock legends like Hyde and Miyavi! Yuta is Japanese and passed the SM Entertainment hearing when he was 15-16 years old and moved to Korea alone. And he's been a Kpop idol since then as a member of NCT127, but he really loves J-Rock, J-Metal, Japanese bands of look. He has always been attracted to rock and spoke openly about wanting to follow the genre to his own music. Whenever he shares songs on his radio show (Yuta at Home), there are always classic Jrock artists being recommended. Your covers are also all rock/jrock in recent years. He is a friend of his idol, Hyde, L'Arc en Ciel as well. This is his true color and self -expression he always wanted to have. He also wrote this song (in fact, 6/7 songs from the album) alone, so it's no wonder she shows her true self! His fans always play that he is different from any other idol, from his musical taste to his aesthetics. And I'm very happy that he is finally able to share this side of him with everyone without apologizing. Yuta is really a unique artist. Very happy for the strength emanating from my beautiful and talented Yuta..❤‍🔥👏👏.

Everybody who follows Yuta knows he always wanted to sing Rock! His fav group is One OK Rock! He has done some great Rock covers on his Insta already. Also he has such a Rock voice! @@justalittlesane I think that it is q bit of a mixed things as u know the TI scandal plus korea has a negative outlook on this genre (becauseof an incident in the 90s or 2000s where a rockband member took of his pants on live TV, since then the general public and station deemedrock as a bad influence) , only few poprock bands have a fair popularity and get mostly recognizedby international fans... have u ever seen a rock band promote on shows, there are barelyany, it is not that they don't exist it is just how it is, 🤷 (if u like rock I recommend "rolling quartz" they are awesome and recently dropped something after their world tour) Rock is popular in Japan mostly, maybe yuta has plans to promote in Japan, if so I hope there would be subtitles for us to enjoy fully... or maybe he aims for that market?? 🤔 who knows yet!!

It's just that that they haven't promoted him on their accounts, no concept photo or video, no profile change and proper posts for both his mini album and Japan tour. They even put out the songs earlier than the physical album. The promotion is just so weird. Usually they give us some content then drop the songs but with Yuta they gave us the songs first.
