Yuzuru Hanyu post SP at GPF 2015

I think he uses those as general filling sentences to cover up his lack of vocabulary. He has these almost always fitting sentences about how he always needs to practice more, or he worked hard, and he did his best, or will try to do his best, etc. Those are his repertoire when he cannot express his true feelings or when he doesn't fully understand the question.

SPに関しては、技術基礎点の取りこぼしは、ステップシークエンスがレベル3になったことによる0.80点のみで、あとは、GОEもほぼ上限まで付いていて、演技構成点も満点に近い。 羽生選手の今のプログラム構成での理論的な最高点（技術基礎点、GОE、演技構成点全て満点）まで、あと2.70点しかないのだとか。 その状態で、真っ先にステップシークエンスの取りこぼしを完璧にし、驕らず、たゆまず、努力するという宣言をする羽生選手は実に立派。 でも、GОEは3点以上積み増しできないとしても、せめて演技構成点は、どこかで10点満点を超えてもいいようにしないと、どんどんレベルは向上するのに、選手も張り合いがないですよね。 採点方式を根本から変えるとまた混乱するだろうから、演技構成点で満点が続出するようになったら、上限を15点か20点くらいに引き上げたらいいと思います。 そうでないと、皆が４回転ジャンプをSPで2回、FSで4～5回跳ぶようになって、技術点の水準が上がったら、技術点と演技構成点のバランスがとれなくなり、技術偏重に偏ってしまう。

She really should have stepped back at his hint. She was in his personal space. It irritates me that as accommodating and easy going as he is with the cameras and interviewers they always treat him like they are in control of him and don't seem to respect the fact that he doesn't have to talk to them.

So interesting to hear your comments - as I have known this particular young man for years - and there is nothing we have ever talked about on camera that he hasn't been made aware of ahead of time. Like you, I feel it is important to treat people with respect. You don't know me - so you wouldn't have known this about him, me or how we get along.
