Yves Saint Laurent: The Last Collections (Célébration): Interview with director Olivier Meyrou

Documentary director Olivier Meyrou talks to Sarah Cleaver about directing the 2019 film 'Yves Saint Laurent: The Last Collections'. Originally screened in 2007 under the title 'Célébration', the documentary was then suppressed for more than a decade by Pierre Bergé, Saint Laurent's business and previous romantic partner, who features heavily.
Filmed in the now-shuttered Yves Saint Laurent couture atelier over a period of three years, the documentary shows the icon of French fashion in the last years of his life, and his close yet fraught relationship with Bergé.
