James Cleverly is having a whale of a time taking over from Suella Braverman. Just two days into the job and he's having to assure the public that he'll work to send migrants to Rwanda, even after the Supreme Court slapped it down, and he himself thinks it's batshit.

Not happy with the court ruling so they want to change the law. Does this apply to everyone if we disagree ? How can the present conservative government justify spending billions of tax payers money and still have people living in poverty . On the whole the conservatives have wasted billions on the COVID track and trace, PPE and hotels for small boats. It's shameful how they spend money without accountability.

There’s been SIXTEEN housing Ministers in the thirteen years the Conservatives have been in government. No wonder there’s a housing crisis and one of the last things that spewed out of Bravermans mouth was that living on the streets was a lifestyle choice. I’m glad I’m old and don’t have to put up with this shit for much longer.

No, not yet. Just when Labour seem poised to win the next election, the last thing they need right now is the upheaval of a leadership challenge. One of their key avantages is that they are able to contrast their party's relative stabilty and cohesion with the chaos of the Tories' "revolving door." Besides, Starmer is riding pretty high right now, his Conference speech and his speech in response to the package served up by the Tories for the Kings Speech were both excellent, and hit the spot. I am sure Yvette Cooper will have her day, but just not yet.

Yvette Cooper outlines the Labour Plan. “Cleverley” claims Labour has no plan. Yvette showed the Govt has no plan B. Cleverley confirmed it. He showed he had written his “answer” without ever hearing the question and is so THICK he was unable to tailor his answer to the question beyond misunderstanding her compliments about cooperation as being an attack. Unless there is something else important, they should be focused on the debate. Besides, the main point isn't classroom or not. You think its dumb, I think its an apt comparison but at the end of the day, who cares. Its "Ban phones" vs "kick them out". Argue on the point. Have things gotten so bad that expecting a bloody politician to have standards is too much to ask for... if so maybe we all need to shake our heads... Good job Rishi has plenty of money (not to mention his wife who let's not forget tried to dodge her tax responsibilities) Isn't it about time that politicians paid for their gross incompetence? Do the right thing Rishi, just one time. I also think that from a point of national security, only persons with 10 generations of UK citizenship should be considered for strategically sensitive roles within the UK

You can not argue with Mr. Cleverly and his royal we. They have absolutely succeeded in getting the numbers down. They have gone from a record high under this government, to just below the record high set by this government. The number in hotels has reduced dramatically by a figure of dozens, who now reside on a barge or floating hotel. This government's record is there for all to see.
