Thank you Yvonne. More black women needs to have that mentality about not being strong and protectors rather embrace feminity MD being damsel on distress. Our fellow women of other ethnicities embrace that image and we should. This strong black women image is threatening our imagery and leave us at a disadvantage by setting persons to look at us with less empathy and people who can withstand pain. Look at the black women maternity death rate or bad experiences in the hospitals because of those malign ideologies.
