So half of Nigerian slang is finding a nicer way of telling people, that they need to reevaluate their life, and what they are doing.

Ashley Williams the “country” wasn’t colonized. Frankly Nigeria isn’t a real country, it’s an artificial state. You can think of Nigeria as a mini continent with different languages and cultures, religions. Now granted of course English is spoken there because of the British occupancy in the region but “Nigeria” wouldn’t even be a thing if not for the British which is unfortunate.

Love!!!! A Ghanaian would stand by and defend a Kenyan and South African before considering her Naija friend, in public space and on social media, but carry on with their friendship. Nigerians on the other hand can fight another Nigerian for a Ghanian or any other African country for the sake of friendship. While others judge us and talk us down at every giving opportunity, we are not quick to judge and generalise. We are free spirited and easy to forgive and very very accomodating. This is not for all Ghanaians, call it my personal experience/ opinion.
